Yep, today’s the 25th anniversary of the NES. Hard to believe it’s been 25 years since the NES debuted in the US.

I never had a NES, I had a Colecovision (in fact, I think I still do, somewhere in my storage room, though I think it doesn’t work anymore.) I did play some of the games in other people’s consoles however. The Playstation was the first console I actually bought for myself.

Wow, we’re actually getting a special console variation for once.
It’s too bad that I would have to abandon the handful of VC titles and game’s save files on my current Wii to get one.
Oh geez, has it been that long already? It’s just seems like yesterday when I got my NES for Christmas when I was five.

Oh yeah, seems the 25th anniversary for the Sega Master System was this week.
Worth mentioning since I don’t feel like making another thread, plus I never had one.
I had a Sega Master System 2… so yeah, Happy 25th Anniversary to it as well!

Alex Kidd. Nifty little game. I actually played that ninja game that was packed in with some versions of SMS and that thing remained hard after all these years. Huh.
yeah it was a tough little game! 
Remember the “scissors-paper-rock” you had to play with all the bosses! xD That was Gold!
