Jack Thompson goes after Rockstar boss’ mother
…what the freaking hell, Thompson.
You know, when I first saw the thread title, I was all ready to just sigh, thinking it couldn;t possibly be anything new or innovative… but now I am so glad I clicked on this thread. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, mate.
There’s a fine line between dredging up bad publicity and an outright obsessive vendetta, and it looks like he finally crossed it. So why isn’t he in jail yet? Or even a mental institution?
Isn’t this harrassment?
this reminds me of a little fanboys comic…

Yes it is. I think he’s just earned himself a place in jail.
"Maybe you, Mrs Zelnick, were so taken by your handsome son that you spared the rod and spoiled the child.
Seems that if Rockstar supported the kind of violence J. Thompson digs, he would applaud them instead of hollering. Perhaps a Victorian simulator, where you can not only beat your kid senseless, but can send him off to work in the mines of Liverpool and get a few pennies each months. Builds character.
Uncyclopedia sums him up pretty well… at least in the “notable totable Jack quotables” part (which is created from his actual quotes, just with the meanings misconstrued… though he clearly is racist)
I bet if someone tried to sue him for harassment, he’d claim that it was from someone who had a vendetta against him.
ah, he makes no sense.
there should be lessons in becoming a gamer. one of the lessons would be who to look out for. it would be Jack, for being a tight ass Zealot who still doesn’t realise he’s being a moron, and Uwe Boll, for taking video games and ruining them with bad movies (dungeon siege is coming up, run for the hills!)
Dungeon siege was okay. It wasn’t up to Boll’s level of crap and rather, was better by far than the Dungeons and Dragons movies that have come out over the years. I was shocked. Considering that every other movie of his is worthless garbage, Dungeon siege was worth more than the first 4 letters of the movie title. Probably because of the actors in the movie doing a better job than they were cast for (The guy from The Transporter, the guy who played Hellboy and John Rhys Davies). The villian was the corniest, cheesiest character of the movie with his pleather wannabe biker clothest (for an evil magician?). But the movie itself was actually pretty good. It was shot in a location actually appropriate and most of the characters were pretty decent. It deserves a 6.5/10 with the dungeons and dragons movie and all of the other boll movies being 5 or less.
Yes, a lot of the plot for various scenes were obvious, but if you just sit down and watch it simply for being a decent (not great) fantasy experience, it is on the better side of okay.
Needless to say (and back on topic), Jack Thompson is a recognized Troll.
