Gravity's making me sick....

I like RO, but I’ve just seen some of the stuff they’re putting in.

Expamle: the Rogue Class.

The Rogue class can strip you of your equipment and prevent you from reequiping it for a certain about of time.

So, let’s say you’re happily going on, and some dipshit Rogue forces you to unequip your weapon and all of your armor, then proceeds to kick your ass.

Oh, they also get an ability “Plagarism”. Allows them to copy the last skill seen. Mages watch out, (althgouh the MAtk might be a small issue) if you don’t kill them in one shot you’re probably dead.

AND they get a better discount at stores than the Merchant.

This is just one of the things that gets me, there are more. Good GOD what the FUCK IS GRAVITY ON?!?

I’m not overly worried about spells being plagairized. As I said in the chat, Rogues have shitty magic attack. Let’s see, a 10 magic attack spell being cast at you… it’s not going to hurt much.

Granted that Kagon. IT still creeps me out. And it’s nto only magic they can copy. shrugs THey rest firgtens me though.

Power. They’re on power. Rogues and Crusaders are horribly overpowered right now. And if the other classes get nerfed with the Comodo patch, well, let’s just say RO will suck ass then.

I’d be more worried about some Swordsman or Knight skills getting plagairised.

Yeah, here’s a nice Bowling Bash for good measure. Or Mammonite… a Level 10 Mammonite is 600% normal damage. Plus the Rogue would avoid the cost to use it too, pleh.

I miss UO now…

And I’m thinking of paying for this?

You know this is only the beta, so things will still be off balance but will get fixed. I think that Gravity is just trying to get the classes out there to see what needs tweaking. And it may seem obvious to us with what the skills can do, but they may have thrown algorythms in to lower the odds of successfully hitting with the skill. The stuff that needs fixing will be fived in time.

Probbaly, but it still doesn’t look good to me. I mean, the ability to take someone’s equipment off of them (yeah a Rogue can make someone take off thier armor in a combat situation HOW?) without the ability to put it back on until the Rogue probably has you good and dead. No weapon, armor, or cards. That’s overpowered jsut by exisiting.

The only reason I could see ayone having that is if it drains all of thier SP and they ahve like 100 HP.

Last I checked PVP wasn’t on. From the overall look of it I would say they are going to choose from a few of those abilitys and discard the rest. They have also only told us the number of levels that it has, they may require that you have special items other than the paintbrush. Also with only 5 levels I would wager that each level represents a % chance of actually hitting with the ability, and it probably maxes at 25%, or it is like steal wich is based on levels and skill level, and it is almost impossible to steal well regularly.

Well, bard/dancer and alchemist info is released. These at least don’t seem so horribly overpowered. Oh, and the dancer, female only, can only dance when she has a whip equipped. Interesting.

That looks pretty unfair, even if rogues have, like, zero attack power.

I respawned and this town I was in was like, under attack, by a very, very, very, very large number of monsters. They said they were summon monsters, but Im being very litteral here - there had to be a few hundred monsters attacking people that respawned.

Probably a clan or something decided to use a lot of Dead Branches at once. People should be banned for that.

Yeah, people like filling towns with summoned monsters. Alberta is pretty much dead now, since no one who can kill the monsters usually goes to Alberta and people just fill it with stuff. I don’t know why Gravity doesn’t disable town killing.

Alberta you always have to be frikkin running lately. Last time I was there there were four summon monsters on the loose.

Dude, sweet. If there’s at least 1 bard and 1 dancer in a party, they can use ensemble skills, aka, dual-techs. Has pretty neat effects. Like higher exp from enemies, being able to cast spells without gemstones, or randomly using some of the strongest skills of any class (lord of Vermillion, anyone?). This really makes teamwork more interesting.

There’s no way in hell I’m letting Candice turn into that slut. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yay ^^
