And I tried using a PSX ISO once. It didn’t work out too well, on account that I couldn’t figure out how to burn it. I wish they’d make a PSX emulator that reads ISOs.
I didn’t get the idea that Val spent all her time on a message board just by posting she has PSX problems…am I missing something? it’s called Role Playing Games Classics for a reason is it not?

Well Val, I know new PS1 (the micro Playstation model) tend to run 50 at Target or Best Buy. While it no Playstation 2, it should work well for you. But if games are not working, then either go some game shop and have them repair the games or buy a Game Doctor, they are only 20-30 dollars and work perfectly (repaired Breath of Fire IV, which was shotted up).
Aren’t playstations really cheap? Up here they sell for 25 bucks…
Sat’s opinion to the Disk Doctor (and he’s worked at a variety of stores like EB for years): AVOID LIKE PLAGUE!
He hides them in the back so people don’t buy them because they’re trash. What he does is go to a CD store and ask if they have a resurfacing machine. He gets his stuff resurfaced for 2 bucks a CD. Well worth it if you ask me.

The biggest problem I’ve had so far with my PS2 (knock on wood) is that when I tried the bonus disk with sneak peaks I got with the hardware there was this guy throwing his skateboard in my general direction shouting “You blew it!”. Kids these days…

Yuu: Open them and see if they’re in good condition. I always did some maintenance in my consoles and controllers and they lasted a lot more than I would expect.
