Vivendi will be making one. It needs to be made on the Wii. That would be SO awesome.
I look forward to tossing my wiimote into the tv while setting a trap.
EGON MAH BOIIIII!!
I can’t wait to Wii some ghosts while crossing the streams!
Etc.
But seriously. Ghostbusters. Just regular university joes with nothing better to do. Respect.
It looks like it’s going to be on all consoles.
Also, word is Harold Ramis, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd are signed on to do the voice work for Egon, Peter and Ray respectively. Not sure about Winston, though, since Ernie Hudson isn’t mentioned.
Anyways, count me optimistic about the game, it’s about time for a Ghostbusters comeback. I just hope it won’t suck like so many other 80’s comebacks.
Though I’m worried, since the Ghostbusters franchise isn’t exactly known for good games. In case anyone hasn’t seen it, the Angry Videogame Nerd did a three-part review on the games of the series.
Yeah, the controls for the Wii could be pretty cool. I like the AVGN’s Ghostbuster reviews; they have good information and are very fair and unbiased and he doesn’t blow up any problems just for the sake of the review.
Apparently there will be different versions for 360/PS3/PC and Wii/PS2, the latter being more casual and family-friendly.
Fuck.
… I second that, TD.
Elebits, but even cooler?
Don’t usually post on the main boards, but dang I love Ghostbusters.
All four actors (Akroyd, Ramis, Murray and Hudson) have signed on to the project, so we’ll get some solid voice work for sure. Also, I believe Serra is developing the game for all three platforms… So we can probably look forward to some tilt-control ghost-busting on the Wii.
I have to say, from what I’ve seen so far of it, it looks pretty cool. I just hope that they don’t fuck it up.
“Who you gonna call?
Well, I’m not sure, my phone’s been acting up a little, so campus security is probably my best bet.
…
Crud.”
