Haha
Yeah. I know. I’m mad about that, Zepp.
Think I saw just yesterday that gas prices for the best stuff was about $2.75, and today i saw it most at around $3.30ish that is for the best uh premium. For regular suppose was $2.89 to 3.10 today. Usually am looking at the premium prices since that’s what my mom said is recommended for her car. My mom figured a week’s worth of cigarettes for her would be a week’s worth or tank of gas, so she’s gonna try quitting again this weekend.
Is the price jumping really because of the devastation caused by hurricane katrina?
It isn’t really bush’s fault, so much as it is we now have to share our oil with India and China, who use almost the same amounts of oil as we do. And on top of that, this is the end of oil. There isn’t that much left in the ground to get. :\
Well this morning I saw prices around $3.20. It probably has change since then since I am still in school at the monemt. Thankfully I have been taking the city bus to school or My mom and I would have less money than we already have. We seem to be on a tight budget since I started OTC.
the closest I’ve ever come to being impressed with Bill O’Reilly was that yesterday on his program he had some ultra free-market jackass on, someone who wrote a piece called “Let 'Em Gouge” or something. He’s from the Cato Institute. Anyway, O’Reilly was suggesting that the oil companies should all voluntarily reduce their profit margins by 20% or something. This guy just refused to listen and just kept warbling about how that would be a repeat of the 1970s. O’Reilly got so pissed, he was yelling at the guy about it being voluntary and only the profit margins. It was sort of interesting.
I found a gas station for $2.99 today. Fucking sweet. I don’t care if it was a 10 minute wait for a spot. Sweet ass deal. A place selling $3.09 sold out pretty fast, though.
I saw the gas go up today. I was driving around a bunch tryning to fix my car and the gas station near my house went up in price during all of my driving which was in the middle of the day. Normally I only see gas go up over night, but never during the actual day (until now of course).
I hope you’re not implying that it has everything to do with rumor spreading and the media craze and nothing to do with Hurricane Katrina. There were certainly no rumors up here like that, and from my last post in this thread to this one gasoline has jumped to $3.20 a gallon for regular.
