For some reason, when ever I try to save a picture now, no matter what format it is, it only let’s me save it as Bitmap.
Even if it’s an animation, I can only save it as a Bitmap.
Can someone help me me?

In MS Paint? Or all your image programs?
No, on websites. I have the same problem.
Yeah, websites.
Had the same problem. It’s an IE thing. I fixed it when I formatted.
Had that problem, too. Try clearing your History folder - that’s what worked for me.
Ah, thank you so much.
I cleared my history, and now I can save images in non-Bitmap format.
I cleared my history, and I still can’t. Odd.
IT’s weird.
Some pics still only let me save as Bitmap, but other let me save it as the format that it is.
Why do you guys even use IE? A different browser like slimbrowser or Firefox would never have this issue.
Because I’m to lazy to find a better browser.
Ditto. And I’m an AOL user.
(I WOULD get something better, but my dad likes it. And he pays the bills. That’s the end of THAT discussion…)
You can still use AOL and another browser. AOL just gives you the connection and browsers use that connection.
Actually, Slimbrowser uses the IE engine, so it would have the same issue (hell, it did, I use Slimbrowser <_<).

STATUS

The second method’s the only other thing I can see it being. And I use IE because it came with XP. As long as I can browse the web on it, I’m way too lazy to go find a better browser
I use IE to spite the whoring idiots who preach Firefox. That, and IE actually is a really great browser that does all I need it to, and if it aint broken, don’t fix it.
Whats wrong with IE?
It’s outdated, and therefore lacks a whole lot of features and functions that are common in todays browsers.
But it’s fast, and speed is what I like. shuns Netscape
Besides, those features are added on with Slimbrowser.
Say, I have a problem with my firewall (Zona Alarm) no matter how many times I tell it to remember the programs I gave net access to, every time I restart my PC, it won’t let them out and I must give permission manually to each one. I’ve looked all around for a menu option to fix it, and I KNOW it exists because I’ve seen ZA do that in my friends’ PCs. Anybody know?
