Saw this a few days back. I’m excited for this! I remember during high school that I’d watch the reruns they had on AS nearly every night. Don’t really watch it on Comedy Central since I’ve seen the entire series way too many times. Need to watch the movies when I get some time. Good times.
I used to watch FO. It was fairly inventive (no pun intended) for a kid’s show. But it feels tired now- it’s the same kind of stories and jokes, over and over. They should’ve ended the series after the Cable Surfing movie. I mean, after you find out that Timmy will lose his fairies when he goes to college, but his children will have Cosmo and Wanda as their fairies, what else is left to tell?
lol that would mean his kids would have to be unhappy . but honestly, i hate this show, and all the other crap on the antipodean these days, they should just bring back the old 90s lineup. it was great then, and it will be better now, what with all the nostalgia it will contain.
They will be, because Timmy will be too busy at work and leave them with a robot babysitter who looks and sounds like Vicky! The show’s writers can be mean, can’t they? 
I didn’t ever see an episode/movie where it says that about his kids. That’s pretty retarded.

Not everything in the 90’s lineup was amazing. Tho, just about everything on now sucks. But, maybe we think it sucks because we’re not seven anymore? I watched an episode of ‘Salute Your Shorts’ recently- was not as good as it was when I was a child.

Anyway, talk about FO aside (I only ever caught one episode of it, but I was mildly impressed. It was an episode where everyone was made silent by one of his wayward wishes, and there was some really good silent humor in there. Almost Tom & Jerry-esque, it made good use of the background music in place of dialogue too. But I digress…)
Do you all think the return of Futurama will pick up where the fourth movie left off, or will they pull a Simpsons season 19 and forget the most recent movie even happened? Going through a Wormhole and popping up almost anywhere is almost Voyager-like, which is not something Futurama needs to be compared to. While it could lead to some interesting stories, it would suck to leave most of the cast behind. It might be good to have a few episodes with the crew stranded, but they should get back to Earth before too long. Besides, it’s not like being wanted fugitives ever stopped them before. Hell, the FIRST EPISODE ended with Nixon wanting them dead, and then they never spoke if it again.
