Today I got to drive an LAV-25. LAV stands for Light Armored Vehicle. Here’s a picture (of the vehicle, not me driving it):
It is pretty cool. It’s a bit complicated to start, but after that it isn’t too different from driving a normal car.

That thing will fuck up a warthog. A warthog would do some damge to the LAV, but not as much as the LAV would to the warthog. The turret on it fires about 200 25mm rounds a minute (25mm is big). It also has some other weapons such as concealment that the warthog doesn’t have. It can also go pretty fast (some have had them up to 80mphs). LAVs can also go in water (though they only move at 6mphs in water).

I never said that thing couldn’t bust up the Hog.

All of you who want to drive one of those, there’s one simple solution: join the Marines (maybe get Info’s help on it if you have to choose certain fields in teh Marines or something, I don’t know how it works).
Hmm… That could be a new Marines recruitment drive…

25 seconds pass by of the LAV driving around, going in water, etc

I’m sure it would do better than some of those commercials like Army of One (yes, not Marines, Info, I know).
Indeed … I think the “Army of One” line is one of the most asinine things I’ve ever heard, anyway. (Sailor Moon’s dialogue beats all, though.)
I could pick up so many chicks with one of those.

Too bad they’d probably stop you if you tried to drive that downtown. Armed vehicles greatly reduce the problems you’ll have with finding parking space.
