Judy (in both her quests and others) has tablets that will teach her spells that go under Forbidden Arts. What type of equipment has the Forbidden Arts abilities? So far I’ve found absolutely no way to use the spells as I have no accessories that’ll work.
I’ve never gotten an item with forbidden arts. I believe you’re probably supposed to forge armlets with certain materials to get it other wise getting the forbidden arts thing may be rare.
It’s possible one of the main characters starts with forbidden arts. If so then he or she probably has to have an item to use them.
Joseph seems to have Holy Seal and he can use it. Perhaps that is a forbidden art. I think I’ll check his equipment and spell list later. Find out what material staff that lets him use holy seal has and if it is a forbidden art.

There’s some kinda crazy ass mineral, similar to the ones that makes beastial weapons, I think it’s called demonite, that you use to make them. I’ve never seen one, but I’ve heard youcan find them in stores VERY rarely. So if you ever see it, get it.
All right I checked. Holy Seal is a fire spell. And not even Joseph starts with forbidden arts. Darn it.
