You can use previous level spells -_-. Or Soul Strike. Or Napalm Blast.

Fact is, he’s dividing his skill points amongst elements, where a good mage focuses strongly on one with a bit of the others for variety.

No, I was referring to his post where he said you don’t need Dex for anything, when Dex reduces casting time. (Not like it matters on Soul Strike, but on Wizard spells that take like 70 seconds…)

Edit: Besides, I know all about having focused skills.

Fire Bolt: 4
Napalm Beat: 4
SP Recovery: 10
Soul Strike: 8

And that’s all I have.

Yeah, I’m boosting my dex to stay about 1/2 of my int at all times.

I’m pushing up Dex, but not nearly to the extent of my Int. (My other 5 stats combined and doubled are less than my Int)

Wow Flint, you actually got a Kitty band.

What you all see now in my spellbook are prerequires. I’m only getting what I need to get the later and best spells. Like Frost Nova and Lord of Vermillion

And Book, you wasted 2 skill points on level 5 bolts, 2 on fireball (fireball sucks, and it’s not a prerequisite for Meteor Field), 1 on Thunderstorm (play with low-level skills first), and you still stand no chance in hell to take on agressives or things that detect casting. The way me and Flint are going we’ll be able to get about any Wizard spell we want, and we still kick ass in the beginning.

Kitty bands are dropped by level 20 Smokies.

And TD, put your next level into Dex, you’ll see a decrease in your casting time.

lvl 5 Fireball is required for Getting Firewall

Yeah they are Xelo, but it still isn’t common at all.

Kitty Band has a 1/10000 chance of being dropped. The Four Leaf Clover is 1/5000 but I can’t find any of those. I don’t know what to do with my next level though…

Soul Strike 9 and 10 do the same damage, but SS10 has a quicker casting time, however this may be a chance to branch into other fields now that SS is at its maximum damage. I think I’ll leave it at 9 for a while but I’ll put it up to 10 before the class change.
