You remind me of May, the foreign exchange student my family hosted over last winter. She was so excited, she’d never seen snow at ALL in Thailand. THe first time it snowed, she had to run outside to take pictures - and quickly realzied the value of winter clothing.
It’s motha fucking cold in Beijing for like 5 months, but it’s a desert climate so it’s sunny and windy but no snow all winter long. Sorta depressing, considering Chicago used to get at least 3 or 4 decent accumulations each winter.
