Final fantasy unlimited - question

I’m currently watching Final Fantasy Unlimited and I’m on episode 19, I heard the series was originally going to be 52 episodes long, but was then cut to 25. Does anyone know of anywhere I can find the episodes after 25?

None were released after 25. Sad, but true.

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> The series was cut in half due to a bad response from the public. No eps after 25 were made, and of course eps before that got altered so build towards the end faster.

Aww, my first anime as well… :too bad; :thud: ::doh:: :noway:

Go watch Neon Genesis Evangelion and Excel Saga, [i]right now]/i]. I guarentee one of them will make you forget FFU in seconds. If not, look around the forum, they’re plenty of suggestions.

Watch Hellsing!!!

FFU was cut because Square could not afford to budget it anymore and ended up budgeting other things. According to an article at animenation.com, FFU’s being cut because of ratings is **** rumor. Even so I doubt it would have gone 52 episodes. It would have probably only gone 30+ episodes or something close to that.

And I’d rather watch FFU to forget about stuff like Eva myself. Eva is nice, but not that great. Excel SaGa is good though, but a bit forced in terms of jokes. Still I like Excel better than Eva.

I prefer not to use file sharing.(Plus I have dial-up so it would be to slow).

So where can I buy it on DVD with English subtitles.

Kazaa is your best/only bet. Unless you plan on taking a trip to a different country to get a bootleg.

Is it Illegal(since its not released here?)

Let’s just say it’s a very touchy subject.

It’s legal, since FFU isn’t licensed.

Final Fantasy Unlimited is licensed. It’s been licensed for months. In fact hopefully I’ll be collecting the series among the other anime I want. Or at least ADV licensed FFU for release in the U.S

Also last I checked downloading anime is still illegal even if it is unlicensed. I’m not saying not to download unlicensed anime or to download unlicensed anime. But from what I hear being unlicensed never makes downloading it legal.
