Ok, I, like the idiot that I am, have been using kazaa for a while. Until now, the spyware hasnt really bothered me, but I’ve decided that it’d be better to get rid of it now than to wait for a huge virus or some crap like that. So, my fellow RPGCers, your mission, should you choose to except it, is to suggest a better File Sharing program, preferably like kazaa, but function over form. And no spyware!
Download Kazaa lite K++ from Kazaa. Then run a program to get rid of the spyware. Then install Kazaa lite K++ and use it to steal music.
Does lite K++ have any spyware?

WinMX is good. It’s got most of what Kazaa does without spyware or the RIAA on it.
WinMX’s offerings are limited. Direct Connect is the way to go

Get SOULSEEK. It is superior to everything else that I have tried. Kazaa is shitty, same with Kazaa lite.
I forgot about Soulseek. You should go with that. Soulseek probably has the best selection than anything else available.
I’d say Kazaa Lite is the way to go, but the problem is, most of them whine about files not being shared, when 3/4’s of them won’t share their files, so it’s hard to find a good download.

True, true. But I used WinMx for too long and got too many crappy mp3s (or lack of mp3s), so it’s biased me against it. ;p
I’ve never heard of Soulseek… but I’m happy with my direct connect now. sits around and hugs it <.<
You can find a lot more stuff on Soulseek that you can’t find on any others.

I use Kazaa lite and I love it. I used to use Morpheus, but it sucked.

Kazaa Lite K++ is pretty good. It even has an option that suposebly blocks the RIAA. It works just like KAzaa and uses the network so there is lots of stuff to download. I didn’t liek WinMX since it seemed to have spyware or some shit in it. Soulseek is fine, but there isn’t much on the network. It is alright for music, Kazaa is better, but it works.
I use a program called Ares, there aren’t to many files on it, but it allows me to download stuff at college since it uses a different port then the one kazaa uses. If your looking for anime downloads, this one is for you.
