OKie… this sort of corresponds to my main forum thread about having IE trouble. I found out that I had a Trojan called byteverify on my computer, and through several means I believe I’ve gotten rid of it.
However, I’ve had trouble locating the patch to prevent it on the Microsoft website (and I know they have it somewhere since it’s mentioned all the time), and I’m still having issues with extreme slowness when entering information in fields on some sites or when scrolling on pages on some sites (for example, ebay is slow, RPGC is slow, but my local news site is fine). I’m debating uninstalling and reinstalling IE, but how much trouble is that? Are there any other solutions?
PLEASE help me, as this is driving me absolutely batty.
