Has anyone succeded in getting cloud to go on a date with tifa? I’ve heard it was possible. i’ve been able to get on a date with yuffie but not tifa and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong… Does anyone have any knowledge on how it is done?

Yes…it’s easier than Yuffie. Just be mean to Aeris. Not that hard.

Yep. I’ve gotten Cloud to date Barret too.
Game FAQs has a guide on how to get all the dates. Barret is really hard to get.
It’s not hard at all… Just treat Aeris poorly early on in the game.
I love it when you can go on the lift with everyone else later. Cid just sleeps through it.
I just did it with Aeris and Tifa… i never cared too much to try Barret or Yuffie… It’s not like Yuffie and Cloud flirt with eachother, is it ?
No they don’t flirt, but the Ride scene with Yuffie, is rather cute.
I think I did get Cloud to go on a date with baret once, but I can’t remember what actually happened.
Do you need to master the Enemy Skill materia to get the master command materia?
No. Since Master Command does not contain Enemy Skill, if my memory is correct.
Tifa is easy to get, i never tried for barret, but for some reason i could never get cloud to date yuffie…ah well…life goes on…and after beating ff7 4 times i got burned out on it(the first time without yuffie or vincent and only one master materia) but on the other hand since i have taken a three month break from ff7 my interest might be rekindled(since i have never had more than two master materia when i completed the game on any occasion)
The basic way to get the date with Tifa is:
-Be a complete prick to Aeris
-Always be nice to Tifa
-Never have Aeris in your team wherever possible
-Always have Tifa in your team (again, wherever possible)
-Always talk to Tifa first (you know, when the party splits up and you get to cobfer with them)
-Under those circumstances, never talk to Aeris.
-Should work a charm. 
Dating Tifa isn’t something you should have to try very hard to do. I did four things:
You don’t even need to call Aeris a slum drunk. You can be nice to both of them and still get a date with Tifa pretty easily. And Tifa’s date is way more adorable than Aeris’, it’s worth the effort of getting it.
I’ve never seen Yuffie’s or Barret’s dates though.

Yeah, i always liked the date with Tifa more… sometimes, i thing the words that cant be said are more romantic than the words that are cryptically said. From what Aeris says, it kinda makes you wonder if she knew about Cloud’s mental problems from the begining… Normally you dont bring up an ex-boyfriend when you are siting down with another guy, right ? I know if i said to girls “hey, you remind me of this other girl i once knew” they wouldnt be so friendly towards me, ya know ?
