Listen to this friggin song:
http://www.vgmix.com/song_view.php?song_id=3932

It rocks… Also, if you are a Castlevania fan, pay close attention to the cameo melody that comes in at 2:32

Man… this song blew me away, stay tuned towards the end of the song for Atma’s theme as well… God, FF6 fans deserved this. :mwahaha:

This has got to be the sweetest orchestration of any classic rpg music EVAR!!!

My god, I got up and started Air Guitarin it up, and I play the Classical!

God this is so sweet, its beyond words…

There’s no fire! No energy!

This is amateur work. If you want a real treat, you’ll download SSH’s rendition of Decisive Battle. It blows this to smitherines, and then it blows the smitherines to smitherines.

You piss on everything, Hades. Your opinion sucks

I dl’ed SSH’s “version” (as its really from FF4 and not the Decisive Battle of FF6), and tho I thought is was pretty good, this is definatly better. However, their remix of FF4 regular battle music is a must listen. Otherwise, not much that Hades has said means anything to this poster.

~Blazer~

If you think this is better than SSH’s version, I… just really don’t know what to say. Your stupidity and lack of taste is beyond fathom.

Seized with Fury is slow, weak and 2 dimensional whereas SSH is hard, fast, and shakingly powerful right to the core.

Edit: Oh wait, I read your post wrong. You downloaded some FF4 song instead of the one I told you to download. Here’s a direct link to the CORRECT song, just to make things easy on you. Get this song and toss Siezed With Fury onto the proverbial compost heap where it belongs.

Hades… this is like Megaman X/FF6… It fucking ROCKS.

TY for the link.

Lol I told you it’s like the best song in the universe. I wasn’t lying!

When I listen to “Seize the Fury”, I like it because I can feel the depth of the music, like you can stick your hand into it and it feels like its produced outside of the computer. I like my game remixes to go beyond just taking a song and adding some beat and speed. Sure, thats nice and all, but orchestration is what I look for. And I definatly don’t feel that intensity out of SSH’s version. Too much electric organ, and nothin really new when it comes to the theme. Its pretty bland, loud fast bland, but still bland. Almost no dynamics. The recording isn’t as full as Gatethehouse’s either. Original sounding, it is not. Its like a model hard rock song with an FF6 melody added in.

On another note, seriously, go fuck yourself if you have the nerve to tell me I have bad taste. I go beyond the basics of music, and appreaciate masterful work. I may be new here, but I don’t take that shit from anyone.

How was it? Oh right, “Your opinions suck.”

~Blazer~

lol, you are new here arent you? THAT is what Hades does.

On a side note, I was the same way. I got all offended that Hades is a cunt-rag to people some times. But thats part of his/her/its charm. Just take everything Hades says with a grain of salt and you’ll be fine. But yeah, dont take people here seriously, it’ll get you on the same blacklist that I am on with many people here. lol

YES I WIN!

People shit on my opinions, I shit on their opinions, its all good right.

Seriously now. Ive spent alot of time on discordian forums. I know how to deal with trolls. I wouldn’t even had responded had he not addressed me personally.

Hell, I couldn’t give a flying fuck what his opinion is.

Hearin’ ya loud and clear, Izlude.

~Blazer~

But Hades isnt a troll. Cause, well… Most people hate trolls. And even though he/she/its a douche some times… I cant not like Hades.

That’s funny. It’s basically a two dimensional song. Even though there usually are more than 4 instruments playing, it still sounds empty.

I like my game remixes to go beyond just taking a song and adding some beat and speed.
Then you’ll like SSH’s version since it’s re-arranged and played with real instruments as opposed to midi, on top of having just more energy and nostalgia in general.

You didn’t listen to it, did you? House’s is empty. It’s like a void at times. And it is way too slow for the power it was going for. It was poorly executed in general.

Original sounding, it is not. Its like a model hard rock song with an FF6 melody added in.
That’s what it was meant to be, as was your version. If that’s not what you were looking for, then you can’t make an argument for liking either song.

On another note, seriously, go fuck yourself if you have the nerve to tell me I have bad taste. I go beyond the basics of music, and appreaciate masterful work. I may be new here, but I don’t take that shit from anyone.
You will from me, because you’re an amateur when it comes to music and you’ve already lost your temper in a sub-tame argument.

How was it? Oh right, “Your opinions suck.”
What are you even trying to say here? If you’re trying to be sarcastic, you just failed, man. Sorry.

Izlude: Being short with people is a lot funner than delicately side-stepping conflict with formalities and meaningless flowery statements. You should try it.

If you want a specific example of what I mean, get the original songs and compare them. Decisive Battle and Atma are awe-inspiring. The drums are loud, the strings are absolutely menacing, the beats are hard and fast, they are true BATTLE themes. Then listen to Seized With Fury and note the absense of any blood-pumping energy, note the half-baked playing that tries to be delicate but only succeeds in being weak. This is what separates an awesome composition like SSH’s from House’s musical feces.

Okay, I now will look like an ass and will be forever scourged…

Because I am completely and utterly apologizing to Hades right now.

Just five minutes ago I looked back in my play list. And played SSH’s decisive battle over again, and again…and a third time. And I was thinking, “Is this the same track I was listening to earlier?” And yea, I say onto you, it wasn’t. I had acidentally mistaken SSH’s decisive battle with another Decisive battle track I had recently downloaded and was going to take a listen to later.

Needless to say, I am ashamed to call myself a classical guitarist of ten years. Because listening to the SSH’s track, it is sweetness extreme. Okay, I said it, you were right, you can now gloat and call me an ass all you want.

How did this happen? I know not…but I am sorry. And you were right in calling me of no taste. Because, In comparison between the two tracks, there is no contest…literally. Real to synth comparisons are like that.

Sorry, Hades.

~Blazer~

Eat a dick, Hades.

What the hell is this? Fuck no, no no no, you dont appologize now! Tell him to die or somthing even though you were mistaken!

Why, so I can look like even more of an ass? Im not a hypocrite, and I don’t like people who are. If I would say something like “Well, I was wrong, but you are still an assfuck and can go rot”, not only do I look even more stupid, but the comeback sucks. Doesn’t make any friends either.

~Blazer~

Edit: Now that I really think about it, the thing that I listened most to in GtH’s Seize the Fury was the section with the fierce battle theme, at least the beginning of it. I looked around on OC and VG, but couldn’t find any good remixes…sigh SSH should remix Fierce Battle…

Well, I guess you are allowed to be a carebear… but you are still an assfuck and can go rot!

Oh, and welcome to the forums btw. lol

Thanks Izlude, I feel the wub.
