New characters with new abilities? I’d like to see how this pans out.
Final Fantasy IV for the GBA is going to kick major ass in the market. New playable characters, what will they come up with next? Anyway, despite the release of FFIV on the GBA, FFIII is planned for a release on the DS. So lets not worry about that, okay.

While it may be “planned” for release on DS, we’ve heard no news about it in long enough that it could possibly be cancelled. Hopefully not, obviously.

so ff4 is coming to the gba but ff3 is coming out on the ds? why? dammit, i wanna play ff3! but i dont wanna buy a ds just to play it. bring it over to the gba, SE! please?
back to ff4. i dont want a version with new moves or characters or levels. but my prime concern is that they dont change the script at all, like they did in Dawn of Souls. and i hope they dont restart the dungeon’s music everytime you come out of a battle. that annoyed me as much as the chocobo theme in ff2. after playing the other ffs it felt incomplete.
I know that FF4 was more or less works with GBA botton wise, It’s the only SNES and PS1 that can. ATB on GBA: I’m not sure.

I didn’t want to buy a PSX for FF7. I didn’t want to have to buy a PS2 for FFX. However, times change, systems go out of date, and it’s time to move on. It’s a little surprising that FFIV is coming to GBA rather than DS, so consider this a last shout-out to the GBA players.
