FADE IN:

INT. RED WINGS – DAY

We start this wonderful fantasy story in this airship. It’s a nice day, beautiful clouds, beautiful landscape… beautiful picture.

We go in one airship in particular, a young man named CECIL is meditating. He’s a 22 year old, he’s wearing a black armor with a helmet in his head. He’s a very brave and carrying person.

A man of the crew shows up behind Cecil…

                          CREW #1:
Captain, we will arrive at Baron shortly.

                          CECIL:
           ...Alright.

Cecil does not turn to the crew guy, he just stays there… looking at the landscape. Thinking…

Near Cecil are two more crew persons. He’s listening to every word…

                          CREW #2:
           The captain seems kinda down.

                          CREW #3:
After what we did, who wouldn't be?
I mean orders are orders, but killing
innocent people to get the Crystals...?

INT. MYSIDIA – WATER CRYSTAL ROOM - FLASHBACK

In CECIL’S memory…

A whole bunch of crews are there, behind all of them is Cecil. At the end of the room we see a beautiful Blue Stone, the Water Crystal.

Two Black Wizards are there. The black mage can do magic… offensive magic. Followed by a woman…a White Wizard. This Wizard can do defensive, White Magic.

Protecting the Crystal it’s an Elder, the Elder of Mysidia.

                          CREW #1:
           Give us the water Crystal!

                          ELDER:
           What have we done?

Cecil comes closer, holding his sword.

                         CECIL:
                  (Raising his sword)
           The Crystal or your life!

                        BLACK WIZARD #1:
           Never!

Both Wizards start charging their magic powers, just as two crews defeated them, easily.

                          CECIL:
           Take the Crystal!

                          WHITE WIZARD:
           No! Don't!

The White Wizard stands in their way…

                          CREW #2:
           Dare to defy us!

The crew destroys the innocent woman. The Elder comes to them.

                          ELDER:
My! All right... Take the Crystal.

                          CREW #1:
           You should've said that earlier.

The crew takes the Elder back, just as Cecil walks to the Crystal… is glowing with all his force. Cecil waits… staring at the sparkling stone. He grabs it…

They’re leaving the room, as the Elder speaks…

                          ELDER:
Why is the King of Baron doing this?
Why do you peruse the crystals very eagerly?

Cecil remains quiet. He leaves the room… wondering the same question.

INT. RED WINGS – DAY – PRESENT TIME

Cecil has just reminisce his traffic story… he’s looking more sad than he looked before. The two crews are still talking…

                          CREW #2:
It isn't right. The Red Wings are supposed
to protect people. We should never-

                          CECIL:
                  (Spins around)
           That's enough!

                          CREW #2:
           But, Captain!

                          CREW #3:
Surely you don't condone what we've done,
           Captain?

                          CECIL:
All of you, listen well. The raid on
           Mysidia was imperative. His Majesty
and his council concluded that the
Mysidians, who know much about the
Crystals, posed a serious threat to
our kingdom. For Baron to prosper, we
need the Crystals. As soldiers of the
Royal Air Force, we must achieve this
           by any means necessary.

A beat. An award silence… steps can be heard near Cecil… another crew comes running to Cecil…

                                  CREW #4:
           Captain! Monsters incoming!

Cecil grins…

                          CECIL:
           Prepare for battle!

An evil force jumps out of nowhere behind Cecil. Cecil turns back and loads his sword. It’s a Float Eye. A Monster with only one eye and wings on his back…

                          CECIL:
           I can’t reach him!

Suddenly the monster tackles a crew. The crew faints on the ground of the airship.

                          CECIL:
                  (To a crew)
           Pass me the Fire bomb!

The crew throws Cecil a grenade look-alike. Cecil explode it on the monster’s eye, he gets burn and dies, falling off the airship.

                          CREW #2:
           Ugh!

Cecil approaches to the crew member…

                          CECIL:
           Are you alright!?

A scream erupts from another room…

                          CREW #3:
           More incoming!

                          CECIL:
           Dammit!

Another flying monster comes to. This time a blue gigantic bird named Zuu…

                          CECIL:
           The Bolt Bomb, now!

A crew man throws another grenade into Cecil’s hands. Cecil detonates the bomb right on top of the big bird. The bomb electrifies the bird, which later falls down.

                          CECIL:
           Is everyone alright?

                          CREW #1:
           Yes, sir.

                          CREW #3:
           So many monsters these days...
Where the heck are they coming from?

                          CECIL:
What is happening to this world...?

A beat… a crew comes to Cecil.

                          CREW #4:
Captain, we are now over Baron.

                          CECIL:
           Prepare for landing.

EXT. WORLD – BARON AREA - MIDNIGHT

The airships lands near Baron Castle… several people emerge from it, on of them Cecil. A beautiful sunset behind them…

EXT. BARON CASTLE – NIGHT

Cecil knocks on the portal of the Baron Castle, which is enormous. The huge door is opened by crew members and BAIGAN, the king’s servant, emerge from it…

                          BAIGAN:
Ah, the Crystal is now ours, yes?

                          CECIL:
The Mysidians put up no resistance.
           They were so helpless...

                          BAIGAN:
You pity them? Hmph. Come, Captain.
           His Majesty awaits.

They get into the Castle.

INT. BARON CASTLE – MAIN HALL – NIGHT

Several crews are there. Cecil walks through; everyone’s eyes are in Cecil. He’s the lead man of the Red Wings, that’s a big deal.

INT. BARON CASTLE – HALLWAY – NIGHT

Baigan stops, as Cecil does so too.

                           BAIGAN:
Forgive me, Captain, but I must speak to
His Majesty in private. Please wait here.

He enters into the Throne Room, Cecil waits outside.

INT. BARON CASTLE - THRONE ROOM - NIGHT

The throne room is huge, at the end the KING of BARON, next to him two soldiers on both sides, protecting him. Just as Baigan enters…

                          BAIGAN:
Your Majesty, I'm afraid Cecil can no longer
be trusted. He clearly questions your authority.

                          KING OF BARON:
I suspected as much. It matters not, so long as
I get the Crystals. Send him in.

                          BAIGAN:
           Yes, your Majesty.

Baigan opens the door…

                          BAIGAN:
           Captain. His Majesty summons you.

Cecil enters the Throne Room, the two soldiers eye him up. Cecil can feel something’s wrong…

                          KING OF BARON:
Baron hails your return. The Crystal, Cecil.

                          CECIL:
           Yes, Your Majesty.

Cecil hands the Water Crystal to Baigan, who approaches to the King and shows it to him.

                          KING OF BARON:
So this is the Crystal. What splendor...
           Dismissed, Cecil.

Cecil turns around…he’s about to leave, but gains courage all of a sudden, and turns back again and talks to the king…

                          CECIL:
           Your Majesty!

The King and Baigan turn, confuse. Cecil, who’s very confident in himself in this precise moment, speaks out load.

                          BAIGAN:
           Why, Captain. What is it?

                          CECIL:
Your Majesty, forgive me, but what do
you intend? The men are confused-some,
           even displeased.

                          KING OF BARON:
And you? You question my command?

                          CECIL:
           No! I only--

                          KING OF BARON:
Silence! Dissension only leads to treason,
and that, I will not tolerate. I hereby
relieve you of command of the Red Wings.

                          CECIL:
           Your Majesty!

The King’s soldiers blocks Cecil’s way and tries to push him out of
the throne room.

                          KING OF BARON:
Now, I charge you with another duty.
Slay the phantom beast that infests the
Mist Valley, and deliver a package to
the village Mist. You leave tomorrow,
           at first light.

Suddenly, a Dragoon named KAIN comes in to the throne room…

                         KAIN:
Your Majesty, I beg you to reconsider.
           Cecil has done no wrong.

Kain is Cecil’s best friend. They know each other since kids…

                          KING OF BARON:
You insolent cur! How dare you barge in here!?
If you're so concerned about him, by all means,
accompany him! Now, take the ring and be gone!

                          CECIL:
           Your Majesty!

Cecil receives a PACKAGE; a soldier gave it to him.

                          CECIL:
           Your Majesty!

The soldiers block Cecil’s and Kain’s way. They got pushed out of the Throne Room…

INT. BARON CASTLE – MAIN HALL – NIGHT

Cecil and Kain are there, very disappointed.

                          CECIL:
           I'm sorry, Kain.

                          KAIN:
Don't worry. After we finish this task,
you'll be flying again in no time.

Cecil is speechless…

                          KAIN:
Get some rest. Leave tomorrow's preparations
           to me.

Cecil exits the hall.

INT. BARON CASTLE – STAIRS/HALLWAY – NIGHT

The stairs are in a darkened place, with torches illuminating the room. Cecil walks up some stars, as a voice stops him…

                          GIRL:
           Cecil!

ROSA, a White Wizard. Rosa’s a 21-year old, white-blond beautiful girl. She appears right at the bottom of the stairs.

                          ROSA:
Thank goodness you're alright. I was so worried.
You and your men left on such short notice.

                          CECIL:
We're okay... I wish I could say the same
           for the Mysidians...

                          ROSA:
Cecil! I'll visit you later, okay?

                          CECIL:
           Alright...

Rosa left the room.

INT. BARON CASTLE – HALL – NIGHT

On his way, Cecil encounters CID, a middle age man. He’s an engineer that makes airships. He made The Red Wings.

                           CID:
Well, well, well. Look who's back. Rosa was
mighty worried about you. I told you before,
and I'll tell you again. If you EVER make her
cry, I'm gonna-I...I'm not gonna let you ride
my airships. So, how are my babies doin'? I'll
bet you and your grunts crashed them again, huh?

Cecil looks very sad. Cid immediately realizes…

                           CID:
What's the matter with you, boy?

A beat. Cecil scratches his head, thinking…

                          CECIL:
           Well...

                          CID:
WHAT!? The king demoted you to an errand boy!?
What about my Red Wings!? They'll be a mess
without you! What's come over the king? Maybe
I should think twice about workin' on the new
prototype he's been hounding me to finish. Hell
if I'm gonna let him use my beloved airships as
killin' machines! Cecil, you and me, we gotta
stick together on this. Now, you go complete your
mission and get back safe, you hear? Whoa, I've
gotta get home, or my daughter's gonna kill me.

Cid exits the room. Cecil proceeds to his room.

INT. BARON CASTLE – CECIL’S ROOM - FIRST FLOOR – NIGHT

Cecil walks up some stairs to reach the SECOND FLOOR.

INT. BARON CASTLE– CECIL’S ROOM – SECOND FLOOR – NIGHT

A maid is standing at the door of Cecil’s room, she’s waiting for him.

                          MAID:
I’ve changed the sheet. Leaving early
           tomorrow, sir? Good night.

The maid leaves, as Cecil enters to his room.

INT. BARON CASTLE – CECIL’S ROOM - NIGHT

Cecil starts talking to himself… as he lies in bed.

                          CECIL:
What's happened to the king? He covets the
           Crystals as though he's possessed...and he'll
resort to any means to get them. Nevertheless,
I can't defy him. How could I cross the man who
raised Kain and me like his very own? The
chivalrous knight whom I've adored and admired
since childhood? I will not betray him. I can't.

In that moment the door opens to Revealed…

ROSA

…Her beautiful smile, her beautiful eyes. Rosa walks to Cecil.

                          ROSA:
Cecil! What's going on? You just returned
from Mysidia, and now you must leave again
            to battle this phantom beast.

                          CECIL:
            Don't worry.

                          ROSA:
            Cecil, look at me.

A beat. Rosa looks deeply into Cecil’s soul. Cecil reveals the truth.

                          CECIL:
In Mysidia, we killed innocent people to
           steal their...
                  (A beat)
It was horrible. I guess it's my fate as
a dark knight. Soon, I won't even feel any
           remorse for my actions.

                          ROSA:
You and I both know that would never happen.

                          CECIL:
           Still, I can't defy the king... I'm a
           hopeless coward.

                          ROSA:
The Cecil I know would never whimper like this!
           The Cecil I love...
                 (A beat)
You leave for Mist early tomorrow, right?

                          CECIL:
Don't worry. Kain's coming, too. I'll be fine.
           Trust me.

                          ROSA:
           Please come back safe, okay?

Rosa leaves the room. Cecil stands up…

                          CECIL:
                     (Almost a whisper)
           Thanks, Rosa...

He remains still, thinking… as always.

INT. BARON CASTLE – MAIN HALL – MORNING

The next morning…

Cecil has already woken up. He proceeds to the Main Hall, where he meets up with Kain.

                          KAIN:
So, are you ready for some real combat?

                          CECIL:
           Always.

                          KAIN:
           Lead the way.

Cecil and Kain leave Baron Castle. The following message appears at the screen…

“And so, the dark knight Cecil was stripped of his command as captain of the Red Wings. He and the master dragoon Kain head toward the dark valley for the village Mist. The advent of the airship marked the realization of Baron’s dreams, but also the birth of its militarism. With its Royal Air Force “Red Wings,” Baron soon reigned supreme. Now, as monsters multiply and stir unrest, Baron only exploits its power to collect the world’s Crystals. Why? The Crystal shed their light silently…”

INT. CITY OF BARON – MORNING

Cecil and Kain can be seen at the distance, they are entering the town.

                           KAIN:
We must buy items and equipment first,
           don’t you think Cecil?

                           CECIL:
           Yeah, sure.

Cecil and Kain enter at the Item Shop. In the sign it has been drawn a jar, meaning “Items”.

INT. CITY OF BARON – ITEM SHOP – MORNING

An old man, not longer than 60 is attending a young woman.

                          WOMAN:
           Thank you.

                          OLD MAN:
You’re welcome. Have a nice day.

The woman exits the room, as Cecil and Kain enter the room…

                          CECIL:
            Good morning Mr. Zellner.

                          MR. ZELLER:
Good morning, Cecil. What brings you here?

                          CECIL:
We’re going to the Mist Cave...

                          MR. ZELLER:
So... you’re going to defeat the beast, aren’t you?

                          CECIL:
            We hope so.

                          KAIN:
                 (Walking towards)
            What do you have today?

                          MR. ZELLER:
Oh, Kain. I haven’t seen you here lately.

                          KAIN:
            Yes. I’ve been busy.

Mr. Zeller takes a bottle, inside it’s a pink liquid. It’s a spell…

                          MR. ZELLER:
            It is called... Life.

Cecil and Kain can’t take their eyes of the bottle, its liquor it’s shimmering, it’s precious.

                          MR. ZELLER:
Whoever drinks this potion will gain Life again.

ANGLE ON THE BOTTLE

Its pink liquor is sparkling; it’s a very powerful spell.

                          CECIL:
            How much?

                          MR. ZELLER:
            150 Gil... each.

                          CECIL:
            Okay.

INT. CITY OF BARON – MORNING

Cecil is holding the Life potion in his hand. Kain follow him.

                          KAIN:
           Okay, should we go now?

                         CECIL:
           I think so...

They exit the City of Baron.

EXT. BARON AREA – MORNING

The land is full of green grass. A waterfall can bee seen at far sight. Trees can be seen too, these are at our right. A bridge near the City.

Kain and Cecil emerge from the City of Baron…

                          KAIN:
           Okay, let’s see...
(Pulls out a map of his pocket)
           The Mist Cave is...
                   (Checks out)
           There!

He points to the left, where the Cave is situated. The Mist Cave is in the mountains. The path is dangerous because monsters are guarding it.

                          CECIL:
Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!

As they walk away the sunshine is fiercer than ever.

EXT. BARON AREAS – DAY – MINUTES LATER

Cecil and Kain have stopped at a lake that it was in their way. Cecil is spilling water to his face, while Kain is laying on a rock near Cecil.

EXT. BARON AREAS – DAY – MINUTES LATER

Cecil and Kain reach the Mist Cave, they’re outside of it. It’s dark inside. Mist is coming out of the Cave.

                           CECIL:
Now I know why they named it this way.
           The Mist Cave.

As Kain walks in, Cecil is stopped by four Imps. Imps are like Elves, they’re green and disgusting. But Imps, whatsoever, are equipped by a dagger.

Cecil loads his weapon, a large metal blade. He calls it Shadow.

                          CECIL:
Alright, you little nitwits! Bring it on!

As Cecil destroy one of the Imps Kain comes running.

                          KAIN:
           Cecil!

                          CECIL:
           I’m fine. Just--

Kain loads his sword and destroys another Imp. Cecil grins…

An Imp advances to Cecil, raising his dagger in air. But Cecil ducks and slashes the Imp, defeating him.

The final Imp throws his dagger to Kain, who grabs it just in time. If he hadn’t grabbed the dagger, the dagger would strike him right on his forehead. Kain, immediately, returns the dagger to the Imp. The Imp falls backwards, defeated.

As the last imp vanishes a bottle lays on the ground. Seems like another spell.

                          CECIL:
           Look, what’s that?

                          KAIN:
           It must be an item.

Kain approaches to the unknown item. Kain recognize it.

                          KAIN:
           It’s Cure.

                          CECIL:
           Are you sure?

                          KAIN:
           Yes.

Kain grabs the health potion. Apparently this potion cures damage of any person, but just a short amount, whatsoever.

                           KAIN:
           This may become in-handy.

                           CECIL:
           Come on, let’s get in.

Cecil and Kain proceed to the Mist Cave.

INT. MIST CAVE – DAY

The cave is cover by mist. We can’t see too well, the mist is so dense. We see two shadows - Cecil and Kain’s.

                          CECIL:
           The mist is so dense.

                          KAIN:
I know. But still, we got to be alert.
There’re monsters here. I can feel them.

Kain and Cecil begin walking slowly through the enormous cave. Cecil takes the lead. He bumps into something…!

                          CECIL:
           What the...

A huge butterfly look-alike is in front of Cecil. A purple worm appears behind the Moth; follow by another worm and another Moth!

                          KAIN:
           Cecil!

Kain jumps in the air…

                          CECIL:
           Dammit!

He takes out his blade, Shadow. But the first Moth tackles him. Cecil dashes to him, but Kain lands in the Moth, destroying it.

                          KAIN:
           Are you okay?

A worm is right behind Kain.

                          CECIL:
           Kain, watch out!

Kain spins around, and stabs the worm in his back. The worm vanishes in the air.

Kain takes Cecil’s hand, helping him to stand up. No sign of the other two… Cecil’s searching for them.

                          CECIL:
           Where’d they go?

                          KAIN:
I don’t know. But just beware, they can be anywhere.

As they proceed a mysterious voice is heard, the voice has an echo.

                          ?????:
           TURN BACK!

Cecil and Kain do not move.

                          CECIL:
           Who is it?

No respond. They continue, until…

                          CECIL:
           Look! A treasure!

A treasure is held at the top of a pillar, light flashes the red treasure. Cecil approaches to the treasure, as Kain remains still looking the entire place.

                          CECIL:
           What’s inside?

He opens it. Cecil gasps. Kain turns to Cecil.

                          KAIN:
           What is it?

                          CECIL:
           It’s Heal.

Cecil holds it, Kain stares at it. The Heal potion cures any status affect that you have.

                          KAIN:
Come on, let’s go. Keep that safe.

Kain turns and keep going. Cecil follows Kain, as two monsters follow them, too.

Suddenly Kain stops, Cecil looks confuse…

                          CECIL:
           What’s wrong?

                          KAIN:
           Someone’s following us.

                         CECIL:
           Where?

                         KAIN:
           Show your face!

Silence… A beat.

Kain turns around. JUST AS A WORM FLIES TO KAIN AND TAKES HIM DOWN!!

                          CECIL:
           KAIN!

Kain and The Worm struggle, suddenly Kain slashes the worm, which later vanishes. The last Moth appears behind Cecil. Cecil turns and slashes the moth to dead.

                          CECIL:
           You okay?

                          KAIN:
           Yeah. Fine.

Kain stands up. Cecil takes the lead gain. When, all of a sudden that voice again.

                          ?????:
           KNIGHTS OF BARON.

                           KAIN:
           Who are you!?

                           ?????:
LEAVE NOW AND NO HARM WILL BEFALL YOU.

                           KAIN:
           Confident bastard, aren't you?

                           ?????:
           YOU REFUSE?

                           CECIL:
Yes. We have to go to Mist Village.
           We're not going back.

                           ?????:
           SO BE IT.

                           KAIN:
           The mist is gathering!

A monster of Mist appears. Its name is the Dragon Mist. It has wings on its back, with sky blue eyes. Very treating…

                          CECIL:
           What the hell?

The Monster begins charging energy as Kain jumps in the air. Cecil stays there, guarding himself, waiting for the attack.

The Dragon Mist finally attacks Cecil with a powerful beam of Mist, but Cecil dodges it.

Kain lands on the Beast… The Monster roars, but this do not intimated Kain or Cecil.

Just as Kain is about to Strike the Beast with his Lance the Monster, suddenly transforms into Mist… Kain stops immediately, But Cecil doesn’t stop. Cecil attacks it with his sword, but a Blizzard strikes him back, causing Cecil to fall into ground.

                          KAIN:
You can’t attack him, while he’s Mist.
He will counterattack you with his Breath.

                          CECIL:
           Alright.

The Mist is dense, but you can still see the FIGURE of the DRAGON. When all of a sudden The Mist becomes The Dragon again.

                          KAIN:
           Now you can fight!

Kain jumps into the air again. Cecil in the other hand dashes the monster. The monster is getting weaker.

Kain lands into the Beast, stabbing him with his lance. Later on the Dragon vanishes. They have defeating the Beast of the Mist Cave.

                          KAIN:
            You okay?

                          CECIL:
                      (Painting)
            Yeah, I’m fine.

                          KAIN:
            Come on, let’s go.

Kain said, while he looked the exit. The sunshine coming from the exit of the Cave is spectacular.

Kain and Cecil exit the Mist Cave.

TO BE CONTINUED…

So… what do you guys think? Is it bad? Should I never post anything this repulsive?

It’s good and accurate, but it’s gonna be a chore doing the whole game for you and for people reading it. I mean, they might as well just play the game anyway.

Thanks. And yeah, but is still fun! But I might make it a little more fresh.

Can you guys give me a constructive criticisimm? (Don’t get me wrong FrownGuppy, I really appreciated your comment), I really need more, since I might be a writer when I’m older…Tell me what’s bad, what’s good. This is one of my first fan fics… So if you guys don’t mind give me one…

Oh and, Yeah It’s WAY TOO LONG! Next time it’ll be shorter.

Ok, here’s the second part, It’s a shorter and not so boring like the first part… hope you guys like it…

CHAPTER 2 – THE VILLAGE OF MIST

EXT. WORLD – DAY

The Village of Mist is just a few steps away of Kain and Cecil. Kain and Cecil reach into the Village.

INT. VILLAGE OF MIST - DAY

The Village is beautiful: They are six houses around the Village. Two of them are The Weapon Shop and the Item Shop. On the middle of the City there is a beautiful fountain.

As Kain and Cecil steps into the Village the Package that they most delivered starts glowing.

                           CECIL:
           The package’s glowing!

Suddenly, a whole team of RED evil BOMBS comes out of the package and, immediately, start burning the entire town.

                           KAIN:
           My god!

He covers his face, trying to avoid the flames of his eyes.

                           CECIL:
                   (Shocked)
...This is it? This is why he sent us!?

                                  KAIN:
            The entire village in flames...!

Cecil runs deeper into the town; flames are the only thing he can see.

                           CECIL:
                   (Shout)
            WHY!

Suddenly, at distance…

                           GIRL:
            Nooo! Mommy!

Cecil and Kain look at each other and, quickly, run deeper into the town. They stop outside a particular house. A little girl is crying on the ground, next to her a women lying on the floor.

                           GIRL:
                   (Sobbing)
My mom's dragon died, so my mom also...

You can perceive her sadness through her deep and lonely eyes, which are covered by tears.

                           CECIL:
           What...?

                           KAIN:
People with the power to summon monsters...
                  (Beat)
           The summoners... they really exist.

                           CECIL:
Then... her mother died because we killed the dragon.

The girl immediately stands, and replies with disgust and anger…

                           GIRL:
           You killed my mom's dragon!?

Cecil approaches to the little girl and tries to calm her down…

                           CECIL:
           We didn't know. I'm... I'm sorry.

                           KAIN:
So this is the king's wish...to annihilate every summoner in this village.
                  (Beat)
I'm afraid we have to take care of her, too.

                           CECIL:
                  (Shocked)
           WHAT!?

                           KAIN:
           I know, but it's the king's orders.

He says, as he looks at the ground almost ashamed of himself.

                           CECIL:
           Kain! She's just a child!

He rushes in front of Kain, don’t letting him get any more closer to the girl.
KAIN:
You intend to defy the king?

As Kain speaks, the child gets on her knees and grabs her mom’s hands.

                           CECIL:
I refuse to continue this slaughter in the king's name!

Kain quiets for a moment and mediates for a few seconds…

                           KAIN:
                  (Quietly and for himself)
Damn... I was afraid he'd say that.
                  (Louder)
Well, I can't kill you, so I might as well join you.

                            Cecil:
                  (Sighs)
           Kain...

                           KAIN:
I owe the king so much, but I can't disgrace the dragoons. Not on my life.

                           CECIL:
I guess we're both traitors hereon.

                           KAIN:
Opposing the mightiest kingdom in the land...
                  (Beat)
We'll need allies to survive. We have to rescue Rosa somehow, too.

                           CECIL:
           Thanks, Kain.

He puts his hand on Kain’s shoulder.

                           KAIN:
Save it. I'm not doing it for you.

He advances as he takes Cecil’s hand off his shoulder.

                           KAIN:
We'd better get going. What should we do about that girl?

The girl stands once again; she’s not longer than 8 years old.

                           CECIL:
           We can't leave her.
                  (To the girl)
It's alright. We're not going to hurt you. Come with us, okay?

                           GIRL:
           No!

She backs off, scared.

                           KAIN:
Come on! We have to go now!

The girl, full of anger and at the same time fear, backs off a few feet more.

                           GIRL:
           No! Stay away from me!

She closes her eyes, concentrating…

                           CECIL:
           Wait!

He approaches to the orphan girl, just as…

                           GIRL:
I hate you!! You killed my mom!!

The girl starts glowing fiercely and illuminates the village, which is still on flames, with a pure white light.

Suddenly…

                           GIRL:
                   (Yelling)
            TITAN!

And with that, an inexplicable energy is unleashed by this girl and a FIGURE appears right in front of her. A giant man is revealed as an enemy of Cecil and Kain.

Immediately Titan CRUSHES his fist against the ground, creating an enormous crack beneath Cecil and Kain, which later causes a massive earthquake…

TO BE CONTINUED…

So… what do you guys think? Any better?

HEre I was, thikning you’d be mangling my favorite FF. But… Outside of some grammar mistakes, it seems fairly accurate.

But I have to agree with FrownGuppy. If I wanted the screenplay, I’d play the game. While you do add details that the game could not, it would be perhaps better if you skipped the screenplay and fleshed it out by trying a novelization.

Otherwise, it’s alright, but I do suggest the novelization, because frankly screenplay/script style tends to be INCREDIBLY boring, and I’ve only seen it pulled off by a few (such as Kaiser Von Almasy’s Scenes From a Parallel Universe and to a lesser degree (Since it’s more patterened after a Chat Transcript) Ashbear and Wayward Tempest’s Welcome to the Balamb Garden Network.)

I don’t suggest you not try to complete this, but please consider making a novelization instead.

Ok, thanks for the advice, StarStorm, I really appreciate it. I’ll try to make a novelization…

You mean, NOT THIS…

CECIL:
Then… her mother died because we killed the dragon.

The girl immediately stands, and replies with disgust and anger…

GIRL:
You killed my mom’s dragon!?

BUT DO THIS…

“Then… her mother died because we killed the dragon”, Cecil said. The little girl stands up and replies with disgust and anger, “You killed my mom’s dragon?”

BTW: Like I said before, I don’t have a perfect english, so… Yeah expect a lot of mistakes. Hope I get better.

Yeah, along those lines. I’d try this though.

“Then… her mother died because we killed the dragon?” Cecil stepped back, shock apparent on his face.

Upon hearing this, the little girl stood and faced them, shaking with rage, her voice quavering in disgust and sadness. “You killed my mom’s dragon?”

Again it’s jsut a suggestion. Another one, although it would add more work on yuor part, it maybe to add in those times where the party is walking from place to place… stuff wehre no major plot really happens, but those little details can make a good story into a memorable one. For a good example, I’d read Weiila’s Kain, or more perhaps appropriately to this subject, Archone’s Shining Force, Behind the Screen.

It’s up to you really. But I’ve never really seen any novelizations of FF4, and I do love that game greatly. I am sure that if you put a good effort into it, you’d definately do well.

Wow… I have a LOT to lern…

Thanks…I really hope I make a decent work. I haven’t read any fan fics of yours, you don’t write?

Heh. It’s actually easy, really, once you get into it. Often you’ll find it actually writes itself. Most of the best here will agree with me: Once you have everything set up, and the plot in your mind, it often comes out by itself.

ACtually, yes I do. I have several incomplete though, but I do have Enter a Warmage Which is a mix between REal World and FF4, and Legend of the Reptites which is a bit focusing on Azala. The link in my sig will take you to an Anglefire site with my incompletes.

Ok, I’m gonna read them, and FF 4 is my favorite FF, too. Thanks for the support StarStorm.

No problem. Remember, the only things that can kill a fic is giving up. As long as you keep at it, and dont’ dismiss other’s suggestions, (along with, perhaps, your characters) you should do fine. We’re here to help, after all.

If you need a beta reader, I’m sure Weiila would be happy to help, or you can email me at starstormcat@hotmail.com.

Normally I don’t beta read, but idf you need it,I’ll do my ebst. Mind you, I’m a bit lazy.

Yeah, can’t blame you. I’m not the type of guy that reads too much, but when I do read I enjoy it, but it has to be an intersting subject. I don’t know why you read mine, it was way too long…

The same reason I played FF4 repeatedly. I love the game.

StarStorm said it best already, so there’s not much I can add  I hope that you’ll continue this, and that you’ll find those funny moments when the characters start acting on their own despite your plans. Don’t be scared of your writing when they do that, it happens to us all, and you can use that for getting new ideas.

keep it rollin’ dude, keep it rollin’.

I’m working on chapter tree but Is not longer a script is a novelization, thanks for the support.
