I summon thee from the depths of IRS! I was trying to cure my insomnia by reading about Castlevania, thought I’d check rpgc and here you are. On the contrary, you made some good posts.
Did you ever complete Chrono Trigger?

I started playing CT DS last month again, wanted to get all my lists filled - enemy, items and endings.
And then I got bored and started playing Dawn of Sorrow.
And then Gunvolt came out, so that’s my current game.
Well in July 2015 it’ll be NY, LA, Houston or Baltimore. Fucking fellowship interviews. @_@. The only gaming I’m getting lately is on my iPad (which to be fair is really good, with original content like Infinity Blade and ports like Phoenix Wright, Xcom, FF’s, SoM, FTL, TWEWY, KotoR).
12 hour shifts are good days. The killers are the 30 hour shifts every 4 days like now.
If you did not do so yet, they have a FF4 version on iPad with the After Years, one of my coworkers was playing that a while back and it looked sweet.
But seriously? Secret of Mana on iPad? That I can’t imagine, does it control ok?
Rig: No, I didn’t. I still have the save file, though. I’ll do it eventually and very, very slowly. Gone are the days where I would plow through games all the time.
It looks like SoM is no longer downloadable on iPad. Damn. That was my favorite game for a while (until I played Seiken Densetsu 3). Right now my 3DS and Vita are my best friends as far as gaming goes. I’m playing Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright right now, actually.
Damn. I feel bad for bitching about 50-65 hour weeks, Sin.
You still do q4?
I thought most places had a proper night float now or at least some other way of getting rid of that horrendous schedule.
And GAP, our schedule isn’t actually that much worse in terms of hours, it’s just that the schedule can be inconsistent. I just did about 80 hours this week but an average week is more like 60 (except surgery residents… theirs is probably more like 70-90 on average). Specialty rotations, depending on which ones you’re on, can be as low as 30 hours.
SoM on the iPad is the same as on the iPhone. For 16bit games, it looks like SE didn’t make separate versions. This used to be an issue but this has been corrected and the resolution looks really good (at least on my iPad air). The controls are actually pretty good and I am surprised to say that I can’t complain. I recommend it to SoM fans. The only downside is that the AI is a bit stupid. I also like the changes they did for the interface, you have 4 quick buttons for spells and items. FFIV + afteryears, as well as V and VI are on my radar. I also love my Vita. It is a beautiful machine. I just wish I had time to play it.
I routinely break 300 hours per month at work; my worst month was cardiac ICU with 360 hours. That was brutal. We have q4 as 2nd and 3rd years, nightfloat is mostly for first years only. I thankfully only had to supervise 2 weeks of nights this year and they’re done. Honestly I think q4 is a lot better. Night float destroyed me and now that I do q4, I find myself much more rested and on top of things. It is better continuity from what I can see as well. When I’m on something that’s not emergency room or elective, I usually have 4 days off per month. On non overnight rotations, this means my hours typically hover around 16h call x7 + 8-12h days x20= ~300-320h/mo. I’m probably going to like q4 a lot less when I am not in cancer center and I’m back to doing general medicine / ICU stuff.
Cless is probably wondering how I’m already applying for fellowship: I am doing a short track in IM, so I only have to do 2 years and my program agreed to release me to wherever would take me. I just needed to apply. Interviews are pending for the next 2 months. Stress.
Here, let me save you a bit of time/cash on that one (pardon any table breaking).

Now imagine that the board wasn’t limiting the number of examples I could post and instead I also posted a bunch of links to various similar examples with the FFV port which is somehow even more hideous than this. That said, the FFIV port didn’t get the Dimensions treatment (and the same could be said of After Years but After Years has the issue of being After Years).
I only see two things that stick out in any of those pictures, and
I heard that a lot of the typos were fixed in a patch. At the very least, the “Espier” typo is specifically addressed in the patch notes for FF6 on the Google Play Store, so I’d be surprised if the same misspellings weren’t also corrected on the iOS version.
…Yeah, I’m gonna stick with the SNES cart that I’ve had for the last 18 years.
Even if I had an Apple device to run that on.
Ew.
That is stressful, but I guess you had some time during your PhD to think about it. What are you going into?
I Atacar Ramuh Ramuh.
Someone please change my name to I AM RAMUH RAMUH
Tha is all, thx
Hematology/oncology. I can’t wait to be done with internal medicine.
I don’t see why you’re going to so much trouble to try and “cure” people. All you have to do is dilute stuff in water, and water will take on the proper chemical makeup to cure you. You can even keep diluting it over and over again ad infinitum. Still works.
This is known as dilution delusion.
Literally?
Done and done.
Jumping in late, but the front page usually lapses well over a year, so whatever man.
