So is anyone looking forward to any of the new series that are starting to air now? I’ve got 4 shows I’m planning to follow: 2 based on production studio, those being Clannad (by KyoAni), and ef ~ a tale of memories (by SHAFT); Shakugan no Shana 2, so I’ll have a series to talk about with my friend; and the infamous Kodomo no Jikan, because I’m really enjoying the manga (it’s worth a try if you can get past the idea of a sexually aggressive 3rd grade girl with the hots for her teacher).
Also, if I’m (un)lucky and someone starts subbing it, I’m going to watch the live action version of Negima.
I’m mainly looking forward to Clannad, I’m really excited about that one.
I’ll probably follow Clannad, Shakugan no Shana season 2, Gundam 00, Genshiken Season 2, and maybe Dragonaut Resonance.
Gundam. I don’t know too much about what’s coming out, but I tend to stay far away from anything with either a tilde in its title or a sexually agressive third grader.
Ooh, Genshiken… I totally forgot! I love that show. However, I’m pretty much just sticking to my DVDs and whatever’s on my cable TV.
For me there is only one show I must absolutely watch Gambling Apocalipse Kaiji,the pseudo sequel to Akagi if you will.
If anything I’m going to watch some of the new shows to see if anythings worth it:Gundam 00,Kodomo no Jikan(is something my friends like),and Prism Ark.
-After the utter dissapointment that was ZnT (Good lord, how do you fuck up a character like Saito so much? Who directed, the guy who did the Tsukihime anime?), I’m hoping Shakugan no Shana pulls through alright, seeing as the original writer is now involved. Especially since, if things go right, Yuuji should be a complete badass by the end of the season.
-I’ll end up Watching Gundam 00 one way or another, obviously.
-Might or may not watch KnJ. Likely not.
-Still watching Higurashi. Final arc is coming soon so PLEASE don’t fuck this one up.
-Yet to see what else is on. I’ll let a few chapters of everything run before I start watching.
I might end up watching Gundam 00 if it starts looking good. That’s really about all I’ve seen going for this season besides the inevitable Hellsing Ultimate episode. At least there’s a new Getter Robo manga coming out to give me my weekly allowance of awesome.
Seen 2 episodes of Clannad, and it’s very good so far, but not spectacular.
The first episode of ef demonstrated that SHAFT still loves wierd art styles, although the plot jumped around with the characters a bit and there appear to be only tenuous connections between many of them so far.
Still waiting for KnJ.
The first episode of Shana was mainly recap with a slight variation and looks to be mostly more of the same (as the first season, that is) Will watch the second episode later tonight.
Watched the first episode of Dragonaut (not sure why) which can be summarized perfectly as: “WTF, Gonzo?”
Also watched the first episode of Blue Drop which has potential, although I’m not sure what for. It also has the fattest chick I’ve ever seen in anime.
I’d watch Gundam 00 because it sounds interesting, except I really don’t care about Gundam shows.
