Yup. WiiU jerking. But 3DS get their own conference at another time.

Well, with them fronting games and kick-ass titles (and the 3DS prototype and release) the last two years, they needed an expo to gush over their new upcoming console, that was to be expected. But we’ve had a year to speculate about it, so nothing was very much surprising from them this year, just updates and protocol. Still, not too terribly bad on Ninten’s part.

Needed more Reggie…

On another note, fuck Valve for not announcing shit.

They were too busy saying they didn’t have time to show anything to show anything. Still have hope for an Awakening release date for that 3DS thing tomorrow night but otherwise :thinking:.

Basically Nintendo’s in full console launch mode and those never go well (hell they promised us the stars and the moon with the 3DS and look where that is now).

So it looks like somebody took a look at the EDF games and said “We need Tanks!”. Why in god’s name didn’t they show this off instead of Scribblenauts? This actually looks fun as fuck.

Am I the only one who only understood like half, at most, of those summaries? I mean I get that it was lame, I just really have no clue what “it” was for about fifty percent of the its in question.

Sorry about that. This year’s events were so draining that I could barely stay awake for half of them plus due to massive streaming issues I was AFK to watch in on TV for most of the time (ironically the biggest fuck ups this year were committed by Gametrailers coverage) so I’m going to go back and rewatch at least Sony’s conference while I wait for Nintendo conference mk3DS before trying again.

In the meanwhile have some Final Fantasy tech demo.

Note: This has nothing to do with Versus, XIII-3, or XIV-2.

E3 is a big marketing blitz. 98% of it is total horseshit anyway. If you’re seriously bothered by the parade of feces that is trotted out during this cavalcade of marketing lies, you need to re-examine your life.

I wouldn’t say 98% is total horseshit. A lot of it is demos and alpha builds and so on, so in a lot of cases it is bullshit, simply for the fact that it’s not the actual product at launch.

This years E3 was totally lame. I think the only thing that interested me was Halo 4, and it’s disappointing that all I really saw were sequels. The lack of new Intellectual Properties is truly disheartening.

An industry friend of mine though said he might try to get tickets for me new year so… fingers crossed! Next year should see some new consoles, so that’d be pretty dope.
