Don't spill cream soda on your laptop

It will not enjoy it as much as you do

Yeah god I always feel silly when I do that

But I love to share my cream. :frowning:

:kissy:

I hate cream soda.

Rootbeer ftw.

He doesn’t mean the kind that comes from your crotch, Eben.

Eden can make cream soda come from his crotch? Hot damn! We could sell that product to ALL KINDS of markets!

Likewise, coffee (with cream) does not mix well with a laptop keyboard. Or its monitor, motherboard, or general circuitry for that matter.

BitchCless, back off, I do whut I wan’, bitch.

I fixed it by rinsing the motherboard with water (just fyi)

You get a rising motherboard just by looking at some water? What the hell is in that stuff???

Congratufuckinglations.

This reminds me of a friend I knew in college. Dropped wine all over his laptop. Oh well. Now you can finally replace your fucking toshiba.

Actually, I replaced my Toshiba earlier this summer. The laptop which enjoyed the dose of cream soda is my Lenovo T61. Those motherfuckers are not much to look at, but they seem to be built to withstand damage. It shut itself off almost immediately after the spill when the liquid started seeping into the SmartCard reader, so I think some sugar residues that accumulated on the motherboard after the soda dried was what was preventing the laptop from starting up (it would start up, fail to boot anything, and then shut itself off). I opened the laptop completely, thus probably voiding my minimal warranty which doesn’t cover spills anyway, and took a straw and applied a flow of water in the sugar’d area, all the while avoiding the CMOS battery and any wires associated with it. I blew it with a fan for 6 hours and left it to dry overnight and into the next afternoon, which gave it an additional 18 hours of drying time in the open air. This afternoon I put it back together and it booted up very nicely. Saved me several hundred dollars in repair costs.

NB: Also I cleaned out the dust accumulated on the motherboard, fan, and inside of the keyboard.

I don’t recommend smashing your laptop keep board with a falling dictionary either.

I don’t reccoment injecting coke in your lymph nodes to cure cancer.

Yeah, you snort that stuff

I have to laugh at the idea of chinese people buying lenovo computers. Sorry.

I do. standing outside Ackbar’s Almost Trusty Home Remedies

White Stripes’ “Little Cream Soda” for the win. Good to see some A&W didn’t completely ruin your day.

With people like that around, it’s no wonder why we don’t bother curing cancer.

No what we’re seeing here is a case of mistaken identity. Cless spilling coke on your laptop not only would’ve cleared up the problems from the cream soda but would’ve made your computer run up to ten percent faster (like cheap cheetah’s blood).

And Arac if you had injected cream soda into your lymph nodes instead of coke you’d been healed right up (though it still wouldn’t have not kill you and turned you into a Patrick Swayzombee).
