Half Life is fucking awesome. Key mods are pretty much Counter Strike 1.6 and Day of Defeat. TFC is dead and mods like Firearms and Front Line Force never really got off the ground (which sucked because Firearms was awesome)
If I get HL does that mean I can also play CS 1.6 on steam?

Yes it does. Counter Strike is a Half Life Mod. Counter Strike Source is the source version for Half Life 2. However, I think I have a CSS invite if anybody wants it.
