Disapointment

I was hoping for something like SM RPG Legend of the Seven Stars. Argh…x_x.

Man, I understand why you’re dissapointed. The graphics are worse than SM RPG (I like that game). And it has a strange story.

The story seems to have some potential, but stops at that.

Looks kind of fun though. Like Paper Mario. Sure, the story isn’t going to hold my interest, but the game looks like fun. Nintendo might add some neat little quirks to the battle system, too.

Paper Mario was cool in it’s own relaxed way, seems like this will be too.

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> I’m actually pretty excited by this. The Brother system seems very interesting.

Heh. You got Mario, you got Luigi. What else you need? =P

Wow. Bowser on their side too? Nice. Altrought, I’d like an old-skool battle against Bowser, RPG style.
((Yes, I like the Mario Brothers. Nintendo fan here. rawr.))

That screenshot of Mario dragging a tied-up Luigi alone makes it look worthwhile.

i think the new mario game looks like a pile of garbage.

I dunno, I like the look of it personally. It’s not like this is new either, this game was announced long ago. It might even convince me to finally buy a GBA…

I was a huge fan of the original SMRPG, but with each “sequel” I think it becomes clearer and clearer that the reasons I liked the game had to have come from Square rather than Nintendo. Paper Mario just wasn’t my cup of tea, and this new one isn’t looking so hot either. I’ll still give it a shot, but so far I’m less than excited.

"Princess Peach’s voice becomes…

Bowser’s new airship"

What the fuck!?

Well, the two are on speaking terms again, so who knows.

Man, I wish they WOULD remake SMRPG. That game kicked so much ass. That, and I’d like to see if Bowser had any use if you were playing it on something OTHER than an emulator. (My parents never got me a 16-bit system. Cheap bastards.)

But you never know. Nintendo has a knack for making great games out of pure crap. We’ll just have to wait and see.

This game looks alright, but… uhh it’s kinda messed up. Princess Peach loses her voice? Isn’t that a good thing?

Yes…unless you like the sound of nails on a chalkboard. :mwahaha:
