What does it even taste like? Is it even close to Dr. Pepper? I still prefer Coke, but when the option is Pepsi or Dr. Pepper, I always go with Dr. Pepper.
Mr. Pibb is like a poor man’s Dr. Pepper. I have no idea why somebody would go out of their way to look for it when Dr. Pepper is better and more readily available.
And I’m skeptical that the diet version would come before the non-diet version, and I know that the non-diet version is NOT just going national (since I had some in Montana a long time ago), but I’m hardly a Dr. Pepper expert.
OMG SINISTRAL THINKS THE SAME THING I DO HE MUST LIVE IN MY BRAIN!! 
(Except I don’t really care about finding Mr. Pibb, because I like that less than Dr. Pepper and I don’t even like that as much as most other sodas.)

But uh, how about that lime-flavored stuff everyone’s peddling these days? I like the Coke one pretty well, but the Pepsi one just tastes like regular Pepsi, as did Pepsi Twist (the lemon one) before it.
Diet Coke w/ Lime was available before Coke w/ Lime, and Caffeine Free Diet Dr. Pepper was around before Caffeine Free Dr. Pepper. According to the soft drink numbers that Frito Lay/Pepsi Co. gets (since I have friends who work there), Diet Dr. Pepper outsells Dr. Pepper in stores, anyway.
If I ever have some spare time, I could always just drive to Ft. Worth to the main Dr. Pepper headquarters and take the history tour and ask, or drive to Dublin/Dr. Pepper and take that tour.
You know you might get sick if you drink diet cherry vanilla pepsi when you look at the bottle and there is a grey metal slime floating around in the bottle----
That’s a mouthful to say. Guess no one could come up with a shorter more catchy name.
Maybe advertisers will come up with a band called “Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper’s Lonely Calorie Counters Band”.and sorry Michael, YOU can’t buy the rights to any songs composed by the band because the band members are women and you aren’t into them anyway!
FACT-The only animals known to drink Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper and live are unicorns -----
I don’t really like Dr. Pepper very much anyway.
