DMC 2 was mediocre compared to Devil May Cry 1. Can Capcom find a way out of the hole? I hope so, although the last couple Capcom games stunk(P.N.03, Dino Crisis 3, and Mega Man X7 weren’t exactly AAA titles)
DMC3 has a lot more to exceed this time around. When DMC1 was released, it was one of the greatest action games around. Now it has Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Multiplatform, 93% on Gamerankings), Ninja Gaiden (Xbox, 96% on Gamerankings), and several other action titles to compete with. Will it exceed? Hopefully they get the original team on it with Shinji Mikami in charge (though he dispises the PS2.)

They did make at least one actual improvement in the second one. The graphics were a lot better, making Dante look even cooler.
Anyway, the main problem they better fix is to put an actual storyline in this one. And to make it a decent one at that. Maybe they bring Trish back, since she just disappeared after the first one. Well when this comes out I’ll probably end up getting it, no matter what.

TD, the FF series is like infinity titles big right now. They’re not gonna stop making them just because FFX-2 was shit on a stick Especially when the rest have been such huge successes.
