Der Unterdag

Yesterday I watched the movie ‘The Downfall: Hitler and the End of the Third Reich’. Although there was some nudity (which bothered me), the movie was a good watch if you’re interested at all in the second world war. The thing that this movie emphasizes on is Hitler’s loyalty to his mission. He made his commanders promise to not only never surrender, but also to kill themselves if ever captured. Now, I’m not praising Hitler’s acts, in fact, he is one of the most atrocious killers the world has ever known, but he stuck to what he believed in until the end. Anyone else seen it? Comments?

Oh, and curiously, of all the people portayed in the film, Rochus Misch was the only one alive during the making of the movie.
