This is wierdest anime I’ve seen yet, and I’ve seen plenty.
This is one of my favorites. Like Bobobo-bo-bobobo, this show proves that many japanese are under the influence of mind-altering drugs.
…I like the robo-I mean, perfectly normal school boy. 
I still maintain that Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu is the superior “crazy” comedy series out there. One can only take so much stock weirdness and fast-talking before it fades to normal. At least Jungle (Hare + Guu, I think the American title is) supports itself with the pathology that is Guu.
Tell me you watched the series in english.

There is no “weirdest anime ever”, because so many of them are just really fricking weird. I long ago stopped counting when series out-weirded my power of comprehension.
So what does FLCL mean anyway?
Fooly Cooly? I figure it’s got something to do with german pens (Kuli=pen).
The Japanese name is Furi Kuri, and most likely means something completely random.
