Just open up your TFC maps folder and copy them to a seperate folder so you can put them back after you’ve reinstalled.
It’s not quite that easy. A great deal of the maps I use have extra sounds, models, textures…shit like that. I’d have to copy and paste a lot of junk. Which, I admit, isn’t a big issue, it’s just tedious.
That’s true that some maps have custom sounds, but if you connect to a server that played that map, couldn’t you just download the stuff automatically when trying to connect? I’ve done it time and time again… you could connect to some maps 'n go make a sandwich or take a shit while you’re waiting. At least you won’t have to sit there watching it.:hahaha;
Yea, but that would take forever.
I used too, but I just stopped playing. I got fairly good, but I deleted it for a lack of space on our comp.
