What is CS and why should I bother downloading it?
Counter-Strike: Source. Counter-Strike with Valve’s Source physics engine.
That means nothing to me
Half Life 2, only Counter-Strike.
Do you not even know what Counter Strike, the game, is? I mean, if that’s what your asking then you should spell it out ;p
Counter-Strike is a team oriented game where team a (counter terrorists) attempt to foil the plot of the team b (the terrorists). Maps range from bombs to hostages to vip missions. Actually, that’s all there is, but still. Once you choose your team you have a certain amount of money that you can use to spend on weapons, armor, ammunition, grenades and so on. You get money by killing people and completing the mission. If you die during a round, you’re dead for the round and you get to float around and watch other people play.

I’d think most of the people would have played regular Counter-strike before hand, but no.
I’ll be on there in a month or so, I’m waiting until after Christmas to buy it since the price will probably be half of what it is now.
