Laser eye correction surgery only works if the retina layer is loose or slowly peeling off, in which case they can weld it back onto the sclera. If your eye is simply not spherical or if your lens have trouble adjusting, I don’t think laser eye correction will do anything.
I’ve only worn glasses and they get annoying very fast. I’d imagine that contacts would be just as annoying sicne you have something touching your eyes.
