The only thing from the ending dialogue that I remember is that Mamimi went away to become a photographer.
you know, i used to like this show , but after seeing it it just left with an enigmatic expression …as in ‘WTF?’ next thing I know, this hand popped out of who knows where and that the whole city is full of some yellow fog…

the show becomes a lot less frustrating when you realise that the show was never supposed to make sense. i got the 1st dvd a few months back, if you watch it with the subtitles and with directors commentary, a lot more will become clear. like where the name flcl came from, or that in the begining of the 1st episode (i think, i havent watched it in a while) the weird crap mammi is talking anbout actualy came from a boxing manga. oo btw medical mechanica is also the name of a company that helped Gainax produce the series

Canti’s a robot. He probably doesn’t udnerstand the idea of cross-dressing–and hey, does it really matter if he’s a robot? He has no gender! ^ ^
As for Naota, I don’t really think he ended up with anybody…
I stilll think the show makes a lotta sense…A fine coming-of-age story, if you ask me. XD

most of the series makes sense, just not in relation to eachother…and i believe cant is an incarnation of atomsk or that atomsk channels thru him since hes trapped or whatever by medical mecahnica…and mammimi just goes to america to take pictures…and prolly get attempt to get together with naota bro…i just love that fact that they beat people with guitars…

I really liked FLCL, and found it made good sense, after about the 7th time of watching it. The music kicks ass, the characters are funny. I just wish i knew what Nauta’s dad was saying about “the symbolism of a humanoid robot living within a normal household…” that little speech he gives. I also thought it was funn how towards the end, like the 4th or 5th episode, he puts on that shirt and looks kinda like Lupin the 3rd(and acts like him too). There is just so much about this show thats so cool, and funny once it dawns on you what’s REALLY going on. Ya sometimes just have to watch it over and over again to catch a few of the small details.
FLCL makes perfect sense. But, that doesn’t mean that the anime isn’t stupid. 
The themes of FLCL are just dumb, I think. You can really get them right away too if you just sit and watch and try to take everything in, instead of being whacked out by how ridiculous it is. I dunno, I just didn’t like it. 
SG, thats cool, i know a lot of people dont like “Crying Freeman” either, but i loved it… same for Blue Gender, and Wolf’s Rain… I am actually buying the Wolf’s Rain DVD’s.
my only thing with blue gender is that i wanted to see all of it but i couldnt find it all, and i love wolfs rain…its good…goodcore… good to the f-core…
They have the entire Blue Gender DVD collection for 100 bucks at the mall… If i had 100 bucks, i woulda bought it… but i only had 10… so i bought a book… “Not Exactly the Three Musketeers” now… all i need is to get “The Road to Evhandor” so i can read it…
If y’all want your anime to make sense, avoid Excel Saga 2X2=Shinobuden, and Puni Puni Poemi. They make FLCL seem painfully logical.
But since PPP is shit, it doesn’t matter much. :3
