Computer question

I am in the C:\WINDOWS\TEMP folder to delete a virus. I’m supposed to delete all files in it. Will it hurt my computer in anyway? Or is it temporary internet files or something?

probably not, they’re just temporary.

They’re temporary files: Nothing bad happens from deleting those.

Okay. I wasn’t sure if they were temporary or not.

That would be pretty bad if an operating system put anything other than temporary files in a folder marked “temp”.

Christ, shut up Kero, developers might be listening.

I wouldn’t be surprised if non-temporary files did end up in temp folders. Software is garbage, and most efforts at standardization are attempts to codify that garbage.

Ya, its all right. I empty mine like once a month just because I like to keep my computer clean.
