I never found the catchphrase to be that “catchy” in the first place, so 15 years could hardly make it any less than it already was. I can see how it could get on a person’s nerves, though.

No, it was American actor Fisher Stevens, also known for playing Chuck Fishman in the Tv show “Early Edition”. Balki was played by Bronson Pinchot.
