At present, odds are good for me joining the full festivities. Can’t guarantee my presence, but it’s pretty likely as of now.
Inasmuch as I should like to attend, I shall have classes at that time and shall have to study. Also, my funds are rather limited at this time.

Just in case I don’t catch all ya’ll in the chat, I’m letting you know here that my father is demanding scanned copies of a photo ID and some kind of phone/cable bill to verify that yes indeed you are real people. I have no idea how legal that is, if at all. If it isn’t, someone just say so, and I’ll let my crazy-ass parent know.

Apparently, there’s this idiot gene that runs in the males of my family.
What does he hope to gain from that? Does he assume predators don’t have valid forms of ID, or is he intending to run our names through databases of sex offenders?
Though I doubt the legality, I know the risks of identy theft, and I’m only willing to do it if he does it too. I also have no bills to scan. Licenses and photo IDs do have important information on them. Looking at my California ID it probaby won’t scan well if at all either. Assuming the scan goes through if I can blank out the important information I’ll consider it.

I can scan my school ID easily, but uhh, I don’t exactly pay the phone/cable bills, I can ask my mom for one of them but that would be really weird.
However, your dad totally saw me once, right? At least, I saw him. So I ought to be in the clear, but I know that parents are weird and stupid. I apologize for not having been in the chat when you needed me but I had to write a stupid long email to my english teacher, not worth talking about, but suffice to say, I apologize.

Yeah, I’m not going to give out information like that, especially since I don’t know your father or what type or person he is. For all we know he could use this information for criminal purposes.
If you can get him to tell us exactly what information he wants, and more importantly for what purpose he wants it (What does seeing a scanned id prove?), then I’ll reconsider.
