Bush commits Freudian slip

I was watching the news this morning and one item in particular really made my day.

This is a quote from a speech Bush gave, “Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

Heh, that’s pretty hilarious. :stuck_out_tongue:

XD That’s just frikkin hilarious.

I think that’s the worst Bushspeak I’ve heard yet. Sad, sad, sad…

Ahh, How great. I suppose Bush is doing some good; He makes us laugh. :stuck_out_tongue:

Now, if Kerry was actually aggressive in this campaign, he’d have the perfect opportunity to attack.

Only a Fruedian slip as he told the truth for once… whistles

Its still only august yet. Things will pick up.

Yeah, most campaigns don’t pick up til late august, even though they’ve been campaigning for the better part of a year.

How can you tell God has a sense of humour? He gave Dubya vocal chords. :-p Not quite up to the level of Don Quayle yet (then again, Bush’d probably have to live to be 90 to get in enough gaffes) but it’s still promising.

:hahaha; Awesome! Soon we’ll see him on friday night standup on comedy central being himself.

God Bless Bush, for his humourous attempts at beiung smart.

just for that… i’m voting for bush. cuz if he isnt reelected, we’re gonna get someone that ISNT funny.

I think what Igatona means by the Kerry campaign picking up is that the Democrats said they wouldn’t play the dirty commercial card. Meaning there won’t be any nasty quips about Bush in any Kerry ads.

So you mean Kerry is such a poor strategist as to NOT attack when he sees a great vulnerability?

I mentioned this in the chat yesterday, and NO ONE noticed.

Don’t worry, I’m not bitter.

moron.

Not sure if this has been posted yet. But since were on the topic of Kerry and Bush, thought I’d show you all for a fresh reminder…

This land will surely vote for me…

And I’m not sure it takes a tactical genious to be able to strike at Bush’s weak points… He gives them out like candy.

It takes a tactical IDIOT to not do so, however. The debate is not whether Kerry is a genius or not, it’s whether he’s an opportunist or a lazy bastard.

Not really. There’s been a lot of media commentary about the ‘slinging of the mud’ that happens during campaigning, so both parties are watching themselves, sticking to pointing out actual issues rather than pounding on verbal weak spots. Though that’s one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard Bush say, it would still be high-schoolish for another man who’s running for president to beat it into the ground.
