Ever had something for a while and finally decided “What the hell? I have it so I might as well use it” then give it a shot and can’t find any thing you need while that little piece of your brain goes “…shit.”? Well, apparently Nero only allows certain files to burn, but anything I find thats a “dvd rip” is an .avi file. Anyone know of a good program to convert avi to .vob?
Huh? What version of Nero are you using? And are you trying to burn it to a DVD video or just a DVD-ROM? I’ve never needed to change anything into a .vob file.
You need something to convert your .avi’s compression (probably XviD) into the standard DVD compression.
In the nero suite, there is NeroVision, which automatically formats video for DVD, and then burns it.
