Bulletproof Monk

I believe I may have mentioned seeing this in Las Vegas in my “I’m Back!” thread. This movie was pretty good in my opinion. I found it quite interesting because there is some references to Buddhism and I’m studying it in my religion class. They broke the one rule of non violence though. Any way, has anybody else seen it? If not I highly recommmend it.

I haven’t seen it YET! But I planning to as soon as I can find some money and some time to go.

Yeah I made a thread about this movie before.

If you want the plot in a nutshell here it is.

You have the nameless Monk, (Chow Yun Fat). He’s just been entrusted to guard a scroll that contains ultimate power for 60 years. Since this is 60 years ago, the Nazis want it but fail to get it. Flash forward to present day. The Nazi guy still wants the scroll and is chasing Monk. Monk finds Kar, (Seann William Scott) and thinks he has the potential to be the next guardian of the scroll. That’s pretty much the whole plot. But no spoilers.

I thought the movie was ok, 2.5 stars out of four.

lol I liked how he tries to use the elements (air esp.)
