Honestly, why would you ask a stupid question like #1 though? I assumed it was asking for the phenotype of the fly, given that eye colour was a sex-linked trait.

Uh- yeah. Thats what I thought it asked, too. I didn’t think it was asking if the SPERM had eyes :p.
