Actually, I believe he was making a point that those statements were just as generalized and meaningless as his first one.
This is just too stupid, then again most of you who’ve played Civ3 have noticed the occasional fluke battle where a Club wielding infantry takes down a tank, or a spear man takes out an F16. So maybe the army is on to something…

Those further statements were his explanations of what “trigger-happy” people constituted of. I’m just saying that saying trigger-happy people were trigger-happy people would’ve been as much help in clarifying what he meant than those other descriptions.
