So now we have to reformat, which means that everyone who’s sent me anything, it’s gone. Including RO. ><
So, that’s my story. I’m just on for a sec to post this. Once I reformat, I’m not getting RO again. I’m on a diff comp (obviously), and will only be checking about once a day since we don’t have a recovery disk… ><

Man, that sucks, Cala. I didn’t have problems that bad, but the Extraction program lagged horribly when it was extracting the RO files. It took a good amount of time before it was unzipped.
DO NOT GET DX9 IF YOU HAVE WIN98SE.
That shit fucked up my computer so I tested it on 3 other machines all with different windows 98SE discs and completely different parts. It harmed every one of them, most old games can’t detect it and end up not working and you can’t uninstall it so you’re stuck not playing them, it also fucked up the graphics card software on two of them, I couldn’t reinstall the drivers either because DX9 did something to them. I’m sticking with DX 8.1 and that’s that.
Which games have problems with DX 9? I installed it recently and I didn’t notice any problems (yet :P).

Sorry, Cala but sometimes it’s helpful to reformat to get rid of other junk. I just hope you have stuff you really want/need backed up.

Ah yes. Windows. If graphical screws up you’re basicly forked. And people wonder why I sometimes run in console mode on my 'nux box or good old DOS (if I really have to)…
That stinks Cala. Make sure to make two partitions of the drive for the next time - That way you can have files on one drive and the system on the other. Makes reformat and recover so much easier (except if the HD lets out some magic smoke, in which case you’re forked anyhow).
Well, I’m back again. No RO for me, since DLing again is ANNOYING. Anyway, just to let you know. And nice to see that this reached 2nd page. I feel so loved, guys.
