As if we didn't already have enough reasons to vote for Kerry.

This is excellent news, especially with all the driving I do.

Is Kerry actually going to be able to get these policies through if he is elected?

As you can see from the article, just Kerry’s anticipated victory has lowered oil prices. Also, I wouldn’t doubt that Kerry would be able to seeing as how Bush was able to change so much.

They will probably shoot right back up once he is elected. >_>

That could be true. I just wonder what our congress will look like after this election. I think it will stay pretty even though. I think my state rep. Tammy Baldwin is going to win. Also Russ Feingold is probably going to win so that’s two Dems in congress.

You never know…they could actually lower it a wee bit, just as a token of appreciation for putting a more legit man in office according to OPEC and a good amount of the Arab world. But maybe that’s just my head in the clouds.

Nah, i think the logic behind this, “kerry will be more popular with the world, and will fix the political climate that gives us high prices” is a bad one to base prices on. ;P, think about it, unless he does something huge and drastic in his first 100 days or so, (and what are the chances of that happening? ;P), these same speculists will think they are in for more of the same, and move the prices right back to where they were. Assuming he will be able to fix things enough to have an impact on gas/oil prices right away is retarded. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And i dont think OPEC throws around their influence that much. ;P, at least, i HOPE not. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
