Arena tournament

…Kekekekekekekekekkekekekekeke ^_______________^?

That’s now officially renamed Kobold Rush.

I thought you also had the Dragonlance book, too?

Er… yeah I do. I probably have a load more books if I had a look.

Muahaha! Getting some more books. 3 Planescape AD&D books are currently on their way here from america

Mayhaps shall give me a few more ideas for arenas :stuck_out_tongue:

There are rules in Bar Brawls? Oh yeah, no hitting the serving wench!

Yeah, no hitting me. >.>

If I had a character/knew the rules/could get IRC to friggin’ work, I’d do it.

Rud posted a link to the SRD: http://geocities.com/sovelior/srd/home.html you just need the basic rules on that (ability scores, alignment, races, classes, skills, feats, combat, maybe some other stuff). mIRC should work on irc.opa-ages.com, but it’s not been very nice recently. Try the java if that doesn’t work.

Well, IRC’s all meh, but it’s semi-working, just need to reregister it (ugh), and I can get that from TD. Now, do we need to be a certain level?

((And is there a campaign I could join?))

I have a practically dead campaign going. If you can get on IRC anytime soon, you can make a character, level 1.

Ahh, Thanks so much for the Game earlier Gils, it was fun. Even if poor Monkey Man Rindel almost died in the first round :stuck_out_tongue:

Thought I’d do a quick guide of additional races, and which books they’re in.

Starting from Left to Right.

I honestly cannot be arsed doing <i>Races of Faerun</i> now. I might do it a bit later on for the Orcish subrace nuts, or something.

Wow, thanks Rud. Races of Faerun has an arctic dwarf or something doesn’t it?

Anyway, I’ve spent some time creating the first gauntlet, for levels 1-3 or so. I just mapped up a dungeon, and rolled for each room as in the DMG and came out with so many freakin’ kobolds it’s untrue. So I renamed it temple of Kurtulmak and made it look templish, then threw in 3 main treasures, finding one ends the dungeon. There’s also some secret treasure in there cause the DMG declared it be so.

Gil will it be possible to hold 2 matches simulataneously in the future?

Currently the league is going, and everyone has some XP.

League table.
Gaurk: Wins 2, Losses 0, Ties 0, Points 6
Rindel: Wins 0, Losses 0, Ties 0, Points 1
Orion: Wins 0, Losses 1, Ties 0, Points 1
Wynn: Wins 0, Losses 0, Ties 0, Points 0
Drast: Wins 0, Losses 0, Ties 0, Points 0.

No, I can’t clone myself. And I’d get confused. But more than 2 people can fight at one time.

Well, Nero (Gaurk; Half-Orc Cleric) and I (Rindel; Vanara Druid) had a Hook the Skull Necromancer Graveyard Game last night, and I must say…it was pretty damn fun.

The first Enemy out was a Ghoul; It died soon enough, and the game continued. The game was mostly uneventful with Gaurk dominating despite his bad roles. As soon as my Wolf KO’d, I knew it was game over.

The Game was now over, and it was time to find out the item’s we won. For the Ghoul, I got a Magical weapon which we randomly rolled up then and there. Turned out to become a +1 Keen Ghost Touch BattleAxe; an Item a Druid would have no use for. All other items turned out to be of little or minor value.

Gaurk voiced his displeasure at the Monkey gaining a fighter weapon, when he truely deserved it. Thus, a Challenge was set. A Battle between a Smelly Orc, and a Monkey, the Winner taking the weapon. Within less than a Minute, Gaurk had taken down both Monkey and Wolf, without suffering any Damage to himself.

The Half-Orc Cleric of Tempus had Won his deserved prize.

I should challenge guark to a no weapons match with my monk :(. Only thing he has goin for him is his ac of 19.

Balls to that. Gaurk’s got common sense; he’s not fighting a match where his opponent has, like, every advantage. He can’t fight bare-handed and he knows it, so he wields an axe.

An axe of DEATH.

Meh I"m fine wit it now. I remade my monk into a new one.
