<i>It’s happening again. This time, American Pie producer Warren Zide’s Anthem Pictures has acquired the film rights to Namco’s Soul Calibur fighter, continuing a recent glut of movie rights picked up from game franchises according to Comingsoon.net.

Either movie makers are running out of ideas, or they are finally catching up to the fact the game industry is bigger and its products better. Mind you, today’s feature on The Movies from Hall of Famer Peter Molyneux might say otherwise.</i>
