A video game based upon a Hayao Miyazaki movie would be good, not sure how it could work though.
There’s all ready games out for Full Metal Alchemist, Lupin the 3rd, and Yuyu Hakusho; although have no clue how they are.
There’s already a Ranma 1/2 game. Most of those I STRONGLY agree with.
I’d rather see an anime from a game. Namely Lunar or Lunar 2.
Sometimes when I’m bored I think about a ROD the TV game. I get bored a lot so I’ve put a lot of thought into this. It would use the overhead system from games like The Bard’s Tale. You woud be fighting with all three sisters at once and could choose which ones you want to control. You would be able to use a lot of team attacks, and both the AI of the other sisters and the enemies would be decent. It could have missions where you have to protect characters like Nancy or Nenene or missions where you work together with Yomiko, Jr. or Mr. Drake (and later in the game Nancy). In the missions where you have to protect someone they wouldn’t just sit there and be captured. Nenene would do her usual bitching and struggling and could knock the enemy out if they were low on health. Nancy could phase through them unless she had been knocked out. Once you beat the game you could play through the movie storyline.
Trigun for sure,id love to see trigun. Hellsing…it would be soo grusome…grusome=fun.
Yeah, I agree. A Der Langrisser anime would be awesome, and same with a Phantasy Star anime.
But then, an SMJ game WOULD be “teh pwnz0rs.” As long as it’s not Battle Sabers. (has yet to play, anyway :P)
I would like to see a CT anime, but how about DBZ video game. Never seen one of those.

I think Disgaea, Phantom Brave and La Pucelle Tactics would also make good animes.

A Rurouni Kenshin video game. I don’t know if there are any out there, but I’ve always been partial to a third-person swordslinging action game like Ninja Gaiden. Even if it was just a NG clone with RuroKen characters and setting it would be awesome.
Heck, Nippon Ichi games seem made for an anime conversion, which of course means that they never will be. I never thought about it, but I’ve only gotten through the first three chapters and just from that I can tell how good it would be as an anime.
I’d just like to take this opportunity to express me extreme distaste for all things anime.

There is one for PSX, but it’s just a Mortal Kombat ripoff with about two moves per character. And I think they are just “Hit”, “Block” and maybe “Jump”.
I’d like to see a Devil May Cry-esque mission based action game based on Bleach. Maybe Devil May Cry isn’t the best example of what I’m thinking of, but I think the fighting system would work.

All of the anime I’ve seen has had video games except Monster and trigun I guess…since a lot of people recommend it. The only other anime I’ve really “finished” (as in up to date on) are Hikaru no go, .Hack Sign, Naruto, and Monster. Monster would not make all that great of a video game since it is a mystery. It may work as an adventure game, but I don’t think it would be all that entertaining. I’ve heard the current naruto games are terrible, but I think naruto could make a great video game if done right.

Anyway, they’re making a PS2 Bleach game due out in August. <a href=“http://www.playstation.jp/scej/title/bleach/”>This</a> site has video and a nice little teaser page with screen shots of it. Looks like it might play out like a KH game…maybe DMC. Not sure of how to place it yet. By the way, you wouldn’t happen to have the Bleach PSP game would ya?

Get Tsumoto Nihei to do the concept art if there isn’t enough already and set a bunch of programmers loose on it. Make the boss fights encounters with the canonical characters from the manga (Sanakan, Ivy & Maeve, Pcell etc). Perfect.
