I’m planning on going to an anime convention somewhere in Illinois, but I have no clue what to go as. I was thinking about school girl outfit (my friend also wants to do that), but does anyone have a suggestion?
Wheee. I’m going (hopefully) to Otakon in July/August and my girly-friends are also trying to make me dress up for it. Ain’t happenin’.
Absolutely go as a school girl, i love seeing guys dress up as girls its hilarious, just i never want to see those manties on anyone ::dekar!::

Well it depends on how much you’re willing to spend on the costume, and how closely you resemble any anime characters. Sometimes all it takes is a wig and some trademark piece of clothing.
I think game characters are easier to cosplay as… they’re usually less extreme, but if you choose the latest RPG hero, be prepared to encounter many clones.
