Heh I gave up fast food over a year ago myself =)

I stopped eating fast food at least a good several years ago after discovering that it violated my cardinal rule. Namely, never eat anything you can’t identify.

However, there are myriads of problems with this story. These people didn’t go to every single one of these franchises across the country. They went out and carefully selected each one in order to hype up their story. Remember, folks, this is the excessively dramatic scare tactic media we’re talking about.

This is true - however I have worked at both McDonalds and Burger King when i was in high school and I can tell you that the health atmosphere leaves MUCH to be desired =)

That’s why I read the health inspection reports section in the newspaper. >_>;

I kinda figured Burger King would be number 1. That place is dirty.:hahaha;

Makes me more glad I gave up fast food ages ago.

Am I the only one surprised that Denny’s didn’t make the list?

It was a survey of the “Top 10” fast food chains by business. Not the “Top 10 dirtiest resteraunts”.

Basically they only looked at the top 10 fast food joints not ALL resteraunts.

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/subsites/twistedrpg/images/hero/rirse.gif”> After seeing Jack N the Box getting banished from Indiana for fatal cases of food posioning years ago and the fact I got food poisioning TWICE at a McDonalds near Greenwood Park Mall (that location since was remodel and no longers is bad). I still trust the places, but I do pay attention to the handling of food at all times. Can’t just get sick twice on cheeseburgers and not be cautionous.

This is quite true. Hell, so did the KFC I worked at. But it’s not going to stop people from eating at these places. The same KFC I worked at 4 years ago recently employed a new manager, and on their last health inspection, they scored higher than the restaurant I work at, and we scored pretty damned high. So it’s not an across the board condemnation.

Besides, look at the caliber of people that these places employ. The majority of them are high school kids, and the vast majority of high school kids are complete fucking slobs. Ergo, it’s not going to be an operating theater in these places.

Heh, I don’t eat at the dirtier places anymore. The only one I frequent these days is taco bell. :ah-ha!:

Partially because of my gluten-free diet; they all have to put some form of gluten in their’ foods! When my diet becomes more common, then they’ll have to rethink their’ strategies, and watch as their food starts losing it’s flavor without it, CAUSING THEM ALL TO GO BANKRUPT!

…or maybe not.

I’m going to erase that from my memory because what I don’t know can’t hurt me. Of course, I have a nice, healthy immune system from not regularly eating fast food anyway.

it’s disgusting what happened in a subway in corner brook people actually said that they seen a dude ejaculate into a mayo bottle::dekar!::

All right! Burger King is at the top! Good riddance. They ALWAYS fuck up my order. Seriously. I walk through the doors and suddenly they can’t even make a plain chicken sandwich. Or a Whopper without lettuce or tomatoes.[/gripe]

I have to laugh at Burger King being number one because all I can think about is my friend’s family running to BK everyday for a Frozen Coke.

That is why I keep to a small set of resturants. And if I’m not around any of those resturants, ask to see the kitchen.

I only get french fries from fast food restaurants (never meals, only snacks). You’ve gotta be pretty damn bad to make french fries dangerous.
