Allow me to unveil the answer to another of life's mysteries

Because I just got hold of an alright microphone for my computer, and decided to clear up a question that comes up every now and again about my online persona. So I recorded this; a crash-course in how to pronounce “Weiila”. Mainly just trying out the mic, which is why there’s some other silly stuff on it.

You may now resume your internet lives. :kissy:

EDIT: Oh fine, refuse me the shame of having an Angelfire account. Just do it! sniff

hahahaha angelfire’s a dump that doesn’t allow direct linking

I know it’s a dump but that’s odd, because the direct linking worked in my journal. Anyway, I made a page for it. Try it now.

Uuusssseeeee yyyyoooouuuurrrrr ssssstttttaaaaffffffffffff ffffooooollllldddddeeeeerrrrr.

Buuuuut IIIIIII feeeeeeeel liiiiiiike Iiiiii’m immmmpoooosing wheeeeen puttttting siiiiiiillly stufffffff theeeeeere.

Aaah, Swedlish!

Ah, it’s pronounced “Vay-la.” I’ve been pronouncing it like “Vee-la.”

Sexy accent.

And now Weiila will gain more secret admirers because her feminine voice and exotic accent. Congrats, you’re fucked.

I’ll take that as a compliment and add, like I wasn’t already :stuck_out_tongue: I shall down a secRRet persona to hide from 'em all!

Nulani: You and my sister both say that chuckles ahh, what the heck. I’ll spend time abroad at some point to work on it.

Commence eStalking! j/k

I was seriously mispronouncing your name when I said it in my head. I thought it was Wee-La. I was way off.

Btw, I like how you say develop. Sounds like devil-up.

Only in their heads.

Damn I was so close, I was thinking Way-la. Ah well. Now I know. Reference here to something swedish and sexy. :3

Ditto, only I’m just gonna keep thinking wayla :x

Weiila, you should have your own radio show.

Man I was far off. >.>;

I have been saying it well-a all these years. No more can I giggle to myself and say ‘well-a well-a cool-a’ when you post Weiila. =(

:kissy:

Here’s another thing I have to check soon…

The traditional “T” of a bloody Swede. No offense, of course.

AND I KNEW IT! Veila. Har har har. Now try to pronounce my nick correctly!

Huh. I always thought it was Way-la as well. Maybe it’s the accent. Ehehe…

I do agree with SK though, your voice “records” well. Maybe you should look into broadcasting?

I know how. I was taught on teamspeak
