Which is the scariest?
For me it’s definitely NotLD. Freaky film.
I agree NotLD was freaky
And the ending was quite unexpected. Won’t ruin it for anyone, but I hadn’t heard how it ended and I was just there, WTF. Scared me big time, and I’m from the desensitised generation.
I’ve never seen the 3rd movie.
Didn’t they remake it recently?
No, that was Dawn of the Dead.
I didn’t really like any of the movies. None of them were very freaky or interesting in the least.
I’ve never seen the last one, and out of fear instilled at a very young age, I have refused to see the first one. It’s hard to judge…
Those movies are scary now?
The thing I’ve ever seen is those sunday morning gospel shows. Terrifying.
:kissy:
pussy-movies
Your mom.
I’ve never seen any of them nor do I want to, I’ve heard they suck, so they most likely do.
Alyx: NEVER form your opinions on anything by what OTHER people tell you.
On the other hand, if you have seen modern horror movies (as oppossed to OLD horror movies, most of which are laughable by today’s standards) and disliked them, then certainly don’t waste your time with these.
Me? I like to judge elements separatedly. Are this movies shock-exploitative? Hell yes. But some are better written, acted, etc. than the others. Gotta be fair there.
Scariest: NotLD, for its ultimately despairing ending. Best: Aliens, which was excellently made- SFX, story, acting, etc.
None are really scary IMO but I think Alien is the best.
I dont think I’ve seen a scarry zombie movie yet, NotLD is probably the closest to what I’d call scarry. I find games to be much more “terrifying” like Doom3, the ending sucked ass but the horror held within the game itself leading up to the ending has outdone any movie I’ve seen.
